My take if PVE Tarkov is the AI for PMCs don’t follow traditional paths for PMCs, the difficulty is meh and I often confuse PMCs kills with Scav kills,”. The PMCs weapons are damaged and should be full HP, there should be extra ammo maybe and loot in the best or backpack to simulate having been in raid looting. The lack of cheating is the one thing that’s gonna keep me playing PVE over PvP but I would like to see those changes.
Swag+Donuts and SAIN for SPT fixes the issues you're talking about. The PMCs actually act like real players aimbot and ESP included LOL

I’ve played about 50 hrs on PVE and I can say the AI PMC’s act more like Scavs than real players. They call out when they see you (in English), and so far they only spawn in particular areas of the map. Perhaps as my character progresses, the PMC’s will get more difficult, we’ll see.
But I can confirm they do have dog tags
I’ve played around 800 hours of base game tarkov and I’m not the best but at least know what I’m doing. For some reason the pmc ai and boss ai have been insanely difficult. I recorded it I should still have the footage but, I spawned on woods and as soon as the screen wasn’t black I got shot at by the goons and had to kill all of them. When looting them a squad of pmcs shot at me. After killing that pmc I planted a camera on the docks at sawmill and sanitar spawned. I’m not sure what I did but the difficulty went from fighting scavs to bosses almost every raid and spawning next to squads of pmcs. I’ve had fun but it gets a little tiring to have to fight a squad of pmcs the moment I spawn. Have you had any of that happen? Idk if my game is bugged or not

Aparently on pve mode you still trade with other real players, fence sells items that other pve players sells to him and i think that maybe the flea market is also with other real player wich is very cool in my opinion so thats why you need to conect to their shity servers

@@agr2190 that will be completley broken with no wipes. I don't think there should be a flee market in PVE cuz there is no "natural" progression like hoses beiing rare early wipe and going for like 70k

Not sure if I'm just trash at the game or not but the last three days I've played, the AI PMCs are absolutely cracked. And up to fifteen minute queue time in a solo lobby. Shit is crazy.
If I’m being honest, tarkov itself doesn’t deserve the hate. It’s the developers that make the bad decisions.
That sounds pretty obvious at the moment but for a game that people love for the concept of a survival extraction that is somewhat but not entirely realistic does not deserve to be put down and become a dead game because of some VERY bad financial decisions. This game deserves to be praised, not put down.
I've noticed when going to matchmaking, if you hit "ready" it seems to take longer to get into raids, but if you hit "next all the way through all the menus, I can get in a game in 25 seconds

@@ChristopherAndersonPirate there's like 4 or 5 menus when you're going to look for a game, I'm not sure exactly, you pick your time, then there's the single player menu, then insure, then find a group. Literally hit next until the very last menu and then hit ready
the real question is its mad it takes me 10 minutes to match into a game by myself might aswell be waiting for players
Turn on more servers. That worked for me. Only takes about a minute per match

Make sure you have all the stable servers ticked from the launcher. I get into customs in under 2 mins.

AI PMCs caught me really offguard, I thought I got tricked into a PVP match or that I fotgot to switch to the PVE game.
Ive only encountered the "matching" timer a couple times, but i just back out and queue up again and it goes straight to loading loot every time.
Ive had PMC's running through the maps on some of my raids, kind of interesting cause theyre paths are not the same every time. Sometimes I get the odd one camping a building. But I would have to say YES to helmets and and masks cause the scavs and PMC's still aim for your head.

Ive been enjoying the mode. Not having to deal with enemy players beating me into the ground is nice. And the ai is actually really good gunfights still feel really engaging
I like it but I feel like they just copy and pasted raiders for the PMCs definitely hope they get updated and tweaked
I feel like a lot of my strategies that worked on player PMC’s don’t work on AI. I can think of several sniper spots where NO ONE has ever seen me, yet I’ll get shot at by ai who shouldn’t have a clue where I’m at unless they’re running thermal.
That’s always been a thing with scavs on PVP. They have 20/20 vision. Combine that with the scavs new mechanics to just walk to wherever you are, sniping is way harder.
So the loading into raid thing is weird. It should load instantly and if it goes to matching it will take a long time if it ever loads. Just keep leaving and re-entering. Usually 2-4 attempts and your in under 1 minute.
Its not weird, its ran on their servers. Im sure they dont want to give people access to running tarkov server files on their own computers right now especially with how bad the hacking problem is, not just that not everyone’s computer can handle running a server and game at the same time

Will they ever release a normally priced PVE mode or single player/coop? I don’t know why they say they can’t afford it serverwise. Isn’t offline mode an option, flea is not needed in the waaay easier PvE mode.

The pmc do carry dogtags, the pmc ai is good when it does work, the key word is when.
They made the npc harder only for EOD players? Because I played and they sworm like 10 + 3 pmc at the same time.
I just come back EFT after 4 years. I remeber that you need to upgrade your PMC like shoot more run more carry more to increase skills. Can i play pve and still able to upgrade it and play it on pvp ?

Haven't played this wipe. And came to find out they made PVE version... Happiest day of my life. I absolutely love it. Tho getting smoked in first raid and first 2 mins on Shoreline by Birdseye wasn't fun 😅

As for the scav runs, you are most likely matched with other player scavs and just spawned in at raid start with some ai pmcs

@@AcezEFT I played a modded version of EFT that was that way and it got boring really fast. Hopefully you are able to get your money back from it with videos and the like and hope you enjoy the game mode.
Love this mode, no cheaters, chads and Stankrats. I think they need to nerf the loot a bit, seems a bit too easy now and need to improve ai pmcs to make them look more like players and make them roam a bit more and attack scavs more. Maybe make them loot and take the taxi too.

everything you are describing is in singleplayer tarkov mod and its even more customizable, with actual intelligent AI that is better than every AI i've ever seen. But just throw money at a dev studio that isnt even worth your free ssd space.

They will loot you, but they don't extract, meaning you will always get insurance back no matter what.
Can i do the quest from traders in pve mode ?
You can do all the quests that PVP has in PVE. You can’t progress PVP quests in PVE though.

They need to give us the option to set in game raid timers. The 30-45 min simply isn’t enough. After coming from SPT spending literal 2-3 hours in raid getting into fights, clearing poi’s, looting, and traveling it makes it pretty gay to be forced to sprint though gunfights and and poi’s
Yeah I pretty much leave every raid with only a few minutes left. So much to do even on smaller maps.
fix ur serverlocation to automatic and your start time will go down to 1-2 minutes

Haven’t played pve yet but if AI pmcs just spawn in and hang out in POIs, I have no interest. They need to have pathing and roam around. Essentially if they were programmed to loot, do tasks and exfil, it would be a dream.

Same here. While ~50€ gives me only 1 hour fun range time with a handfull of 9mm/7,62/.223 IRL, that tiny bit of cash to upgrade EOD to unheard is worth hundreds/thousands of fun hours. The version i always hoped for. No waste of thought/attention/energy on campers, cheaters, asswipes, rats - now i just can enjoy it. The gfx, environment, tasks, in my own pace pushy/risky or stealth - and also casually on weeks with less free time. Without missing a thing or getting obliterated late wipe (bc lack of time to grind to top gear) 👍

I've found that ear pro is one of the things i rarely or never use in the pve mode. It's just not as vital to have a hearing advantage when you know you're not trying to out creep someone or someone is hearing you slow walk on wood from 400 meters away with their $500 headset
I enjoyed it a lot too. Price for new players is way to high but it could be worse (like Diablo immortal worse). I noticed OMCs are basically raiders and everything else is pretty normal. I’m almost level 15 and I’m interested to see the flea market.

@improxy1435 I originally bought the EOD. I've only ever made it to lvl 26. The amount of content I haven't seen is worth it to me. I only paid an extra $111. I have the money. So it's worth it to me!
