Found this band a few years ago. Amazing talent and some insanely great acoustic versions of their songs on youtube. One of the best live bands I have seen in a long time. So much fun too. awesome reaction! you really should check out a few more of their acoustic songs...
There are some amazing drummers on worship teams that do not get enough recognition. Not many of them seek it out though either. They are there to be a piece of the whole -- to help lead people into God's presence.
Welcome to the family business! Clyde and Gracie Lawrence are siblings that front an 8 member band out of NY. All the other band members have been friends they have picked up growing up, from middle school all the way through Clyde's time in college. Gracie joined full time after HS and they are on album #4 (the second under Bellion's label). A few months back they performed on the Tonight Show and Kelly Clarkson (Whatcha Want), they've opened for the Jonas Brothers this last year and just a few months ago, opened for the Rolling Stones in NY. They have been featured on Jacob Collier's latest album, and Gracie is featured on Meghan Trainor's latest album (Crushin'). They have almost wrapped the first US leg of their headline tour and are announcing new dates soon. As much fun as the songs are, they really really shine live. They do not use any backing tracks, and everyone in the band is multi talented. These Acoustic-ish versions of the songs are a pretty decent example of the live feeling, but these sessions involve singing with a group of backup vocalists that are not normally part of the normal show. Still, fire sessions every time. You could easily just spiral down the rabbit hole with all of their stuff. More Gracie: 23, Freckles, The Weather More Clyde: Guy I used to be, False Alarms, Casualty More both: The Heartburn Song, Superficial, It's not all about you, Hip Replacement

Thanks for this reaction. Seeing people hearing Gracie for the first time is always delightful.
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Lawrence. I think you'll enjoy it here.

Just saw them in Portland a couple days ago. They are the real deal.
Saw them in Fort Lauderdale. Were we close enough to Gracie? :

I was there too! PDX show was amazing!
My cousin is FOH for BDW. Drummers are unfortunately not popular in Worship bands. Underrated.

This band is incredible… Check out ‘The Guy I Used to Be (Acoustic-ish)’ to hear Clyde do his thing. He is just as accomplished a singer as Gracie.

Listen to their song "Alibi" if you want to hear Gracie channeling that Amy Winehouse vibe...
