Wow, for some reason in my mind a lot of these updates are still new, like the nomad event, stronghold, and construction crane… maybe I put more time into the game in 2012 than I remember.

16:12 I remember on mobile there was a point around 2016 when they were really popular to the point where many people exclusively used them for their melee defence and they got angry if you sent them melee defenders that replaced them on the wall while having less points against ranged attackers later they released an update that buffed all other melee defenders angainst ranged by like 10 points which was enough to make the veteran swordsman obselete for most players.

The problem with this game is that it looks so outdated, very very old, no animated battles, graphics from 80's,
Great great content and a great creative team but graphics and battle system are main weakness that and you have to defend 3 castles at a time , the castle and the 3 outpost something that always was difficult for me

The bigger problems imo are the pay-to-win model and the incentivisation to spend an unhealthy amount of time on the game. Graphics are more a matter of personal preference

12:23 I disagree with that point. Browser games like Goodgame were the fathers of mobile game monetisation, every game went downhill on both platforms at the same time (circa 2014) more or less.
