      Even allowing people to get off before trying to push against the people getting off to get on. I can’t imagine in the uk trains would move without closing the doors and trying to exit before the train has stopped…😬an appointment with the British Transport Police, yes, it’s real. He’d probably be banned from the train company too.
      When people here complain about overcrowded trains they should put them in a simulation of this train. Then advice them to read Julia Donaldson’s A Squash and a Squeeze.
      For those that don’t know it’s a great book, if you don’t have a copy buy a copy for children in your life, alternatively there are many videos of people reading it on here. Those have saved me twice when I had no voice in the classroom. Sadly, I still know it & a few others word by word 😂

    For someone who travels everyday on the western line,first of all such empty trains are a myth on western line.this probably is a central line train coming from the opposite side (going towards cst)
    On a normal day,this is not practical at all and wouldn’t ever follow it.
    The govt needs to either start new modes of transport to biforcate the crowd or just create more job opportunities in every city to reduce this crowd in local trains

      Problem is Mumbai people take pride on current state of city and complain less. For the economy it makes, it should have the best mode of transport in the country, but severely lacks behind even tier 2 cities.
      The only thing I found better than other cities is fair and resolved Auto rickshaw system.

      @sunshineirenem 2 года назад +10

      @@vishnu4234 Bombay people don’t take pride in the current state of the city. I’m suprised that you think that way. The only problem is people are soo busy with their jobs that they have no time to spare for their family and friends. So civic issues get ignored. For a normal middle class man feeding his family is his only concern and reaching home his priority.
      Also it’s funny how you say we have a “resolved” auto rickshaw system🤣🤣🤣 no person from bombay would agree with any info you just shared .

    The main problem with Mumbai local coaches isn’t really less space inside the coach but people who’re standing near the doors or in the main passage as this blocks the way for others to get in and even causes nuisance for those wanting to get down. If people simply stepped inside and occupied the seats and the space between the seats, the relief brought to everyone would be surplus. I’ve travelled in these coaches for roughly 8 years and most of the times this has been the case.
    Even here, the women undoubtedly were disciplined and well mannered to exhibit such patience but you don’t really get that much time in reality as the train isn’t going to be standing there for 5-10 mins, except some scenarios.

      I've travelled in the ladies compartment for awhile and while that is an issue. The issue is also that there's no space, I've seen women sitting on even the smallest bit of space (on the seats). No space and if you're not standing next to the door before your station comes, you'll miss it because you won't have time then to get out with the rush wanting to get in.

    Once the foot board door blockers are penalized the travel would be more easy. These on foot board is a great nuisance to board trains at stations.

    Not a complaint but Accustomed to delhi metro I was wheezing about the train not having gates. I guess they run at lower speed so it's alright. Trains are lifeline of city and it's people.
