Hello from Okinawa, Japan. Ginger has always had trouble with sunburn. She uses a zinc based sunscreen to protect the coral. Many brands make ocean friendly sunscreen. We have never been to Flagler. Cute haircut! We love going to head live music on the beach. Glad y’all had a great time.
Joan, I love the new do ... its a perfect cut for you. I think I was the only kid in the 70's that refused to leave the house without sunscreen. haha I have red hair, very pale and burn like a marshmallow in the fire pit. Such a beautiful beach!!
Thanks LisaMarie. I’m really enjoying this cut for the summer. And I’m keeping Jerry coated in 50 too! We had so much fun at the beach this year and the added treat with all the kids the last week of our stay. Joan
I know the feeling Jerry. In my younger days we put baby oil on. That was the thing then. I too had a cancer spot taken off my back. It’s been a year now, and no relapse or issues . Beautiful beach. We will be there in June 2023. Thanks for sharing this. You gave me a lot of good ideas and information.
Thanks so much Tammy. It’s a tough lesson to learn. I was fortunate to catch it early. We still enjoy the beach. More time under a tent and lots of sunscreen when we’re catching waves.
Hope you guys were safe during our nasty storm yesterday afternoon here in St. Augustine. Lost power at my house for a bit. Enjoy my town.PS if Mango Mango is open on A St. It is fantastic or Cap’s on the Water on A1A north of Vilano is fabulous too.
These 30 minute afternoon storms are a bruiser. And yes, I got caught in it!!! We love Mango Mango. Tried Saturday, but closed again for takeout only. Oh well, this will pass soon I hope. Haven't been to Cap's in a while. Time for a return trip.
You have convinced me to get down to St. Augustine, Wow! So beautiful! We've been there before but just a very short stop to see the lighthouse. And tell Joan I absolutely love her hair, it's adorable! Thanks again for the videos, look forward to the next one! Safe travels & God Bless!
Thanks a bunch Jennifer. Having a great month here even though RV life this go round is a little different. I should have named the trip "The Big Chill". Next video will be with the kids this week. Much more fun to share. Joan wanted to pass her thanks along too. I think she looks rather sporty!
Hey kids!!! I just wanted to say hi and thank you for your videos. We've been watching you guys for quite a while now and have enjoyed following you for sure. I stopped by the campground to say hey this morning, but unfortunately you weren't outside. lol Anyway, i'll try to stop back by tomorrow or later on this afternoon and catch you. Be safe and thank again!!! :)
On the way south to Flagler Beach you passed a small Fort(Ft. Matanzas) that was built and finished in 1742. It was used to send smoke signals to the big Fort in St. Augustine if attackers came up the Matanzas river.. Ft. Matanzas is part of the National Parks and is free.
We've been here at Stagecoach campground since Wednesday (6/24) and enjoying life. Monday we pick up our new camper. It's been an enjoyable, expensive trip. Oh well, can't take it with you. You and Joan enjoy.
We’ve stayed at the Stagecoach nice little campground nice people. We bought our current RV 3 years ago at Dick Gores right down the road from the campground. We had a great experience with them.
I always wear a wide brim hat to protect my ears and neck. I have to have some spots checked on my hands every 6 months. Spend a lot of time fishing and skiing, but never was a beach person.
This is the 1st time I have seen your videos. The two of you have an amazing Marriage that most can only dream about. St. Augustine was mine and my Husband's favorite vacation place. I lost him to lung cancer in January 2020. I really want to return there again but it will be a hard thing to do. How many years have you two been together ? You both still seem and act like Newlyweds. Stay safe and be happy !!!
Thanks you so much Nancy. So sorry to hear of your husbands passing. Joan and I were high school sweethearts. This August we will celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. Joan’s my hero and love her as much as the day we were married.
@@iLoveRVlife I hope you two grow real old TOGETHER as I cannot picture one of you without the other one. Thanks for the reply and stay safe out there in these crazy times.
I can't really imagine having ice cream on top of raw oysters. But maybe that's because I can't imagine eating raw oysters. Have fun! As I know you will.
I'd guess the first person that ate a raw Oyster, did it to win a bet. :) I never understood why people hide the taste of seafood by using hot sauce on it. I love blue crabs, but most people cook them in vinegar, Old Bay seasoning, WHY? I ordered a Lobster in VA and it came cooked in Old Bay Seasoning! You would be arrested in Maine or NH for doing that! :)

Good to see in this time of the pandemic.
Area is a bit mixed with responses. Beach area is open with no restrictions. Downtown now requires face masks.
Just put myself in waiting list for this weekend thanks to your awesome video!
Thanks a bunch Karis. Hope you get a chance to go. We have one more video of our stay. All the Js showed up. Quite a crew and we had a blast.

Thank you Susan. I’m really liking my new summer cut. Joan..

Hi Kim. We stayed there for 2 weeks in 2015 before we started iLoveRVlife. Nice campground. Absolutely keeping the 50 on and having fun.
Thank you for sharing this personal experience!
One of those things life deal. I was blessed with the outcome.
Thanks for telling others about skin cancer. Had Moms surgery and do not want to do that again! Love Florida and your videos!🦀🦐🦑🐙🦈🐋🐳🐬🐠
Thanks so much Tammy. It’s a tough lesson to learn. I was fortunate to catch it early. We still enjoy the beach. More time under a tent and lots of sunscreen when we’re catching waves.
Looks like a lot of funny. Can't wait for Nancy and I to hit the road.
You'll have a great time.
I could smell that ocean breeze all the way up here in KY. 😂 so relaxing 😎 thanks for sharing. Safe travels
The beach this year has been great. Rain late after we leave. Nice breeze too!

Gotch Bob. Joan and I have been looking at new RVs since Feb. This will be our last one. Haven’t found it yet, but we’re close!

Another great video.
Thanks Randall.

Thanks.
Headed down next week...love me some oysters!!!
Have fun

Wise advice.

The restaurant that you ate at only does delivery now, stay safe.
A couple in the area that were open went back to takeout. At the same time, a bunch that were closed opened. A bit of a revolving door.
Nice
Thanks
Looks like you can actually social distance there.
No problem. Everyone is watching their space.
Were you able to meet Kyle, Olivia, and Nora (Drivin’ & Vibin’)?
I love Joan’s hair!
Joan sends her thanks. We weren’t able to catch up. Hope our paths cross again soon.
Trying to find camping pricing for ocean grove park. Can't find it on their website.
Hi Laura. Here's their rate sheet www.oceangroveresort.com/Rates
Enjoy your videos! Have y’all ever eaten the fried shrimp at Osteens?
That we have Jay. Good food.

Can't wait to get a good Philly cheese steak 😋
And it certainly was a good.
