The production of this type of bricks (locally named "tijolos queimados") has a serious environmental impact, as it needs a lot of firewood that comes from deforestation. And the result is a very low-quality brick. The sustainable alternative, which the government also supports, is the Compressed Earth Block.
Always one tree hugger ,gotta make himself known. Of course he touts the government solution as well. how do you know that firewood doesn't come from already-felled trees? Or do you always assume people do things the dumbest way possible because it's convenient for you?
“Already felled trees” you are a special kind of dumb. Watch the video again they literally say “fresh firewood” and you can see it’s been chopped. It’s true this is a waste of trees for a low quality result. There are better alternatives
yet this is far better than factory made bricks using industrialized methods. A huge benefit being made on spot and materials from one location. The amount of gasoline and industrial chemicals, electricity etc market bricks use is a hell of a lot worse. The right forestry practices and this version COULD be entirely sustainable. Especially if they dont use regular concrete and make utilize their ash to make mortar. However yes, rammed earth is a cleaner option. Can even use far less wood with using the ash to make a plaster to make it more weather resistant. Or wattle and daub construction. My main point being the world would be just fine with this method if the real problem, the big boys and their factories, were not an issue. (i am a capitalist by the way, before i get the "lefty liberal" accusation, but also an environmentalist, Im not saying the factories MUST GO but their issues need to be resolved.)
Guess what they lied to you TREES ARE A RENEWABLE RESOURCE AND THEY NEED TO BE CUT REGULARLY AND REPLANTED OR YOU WILL FACE FOREST FIRES DUE TO BUILD UP ON THE FOREST FLOOR FROM OLD TREES. USE YOUR BRAIN AND STOP LETTING OTHER PEOPLE TELL YOU THINGS.
@@altnative charcoal is strong enough to support the weight of the bricks on top of it, even as it burns, so more hot air can pass between brick layers. That helps propagate your fire deeper into the brick-firing clamp. So you could put some charcoal between each layer of bricks and it'll remain fairly stable. That will get your fire hotter, and keep it hot longer. Best of all, you can throttle the amount of air you let in, so you can keep it from getting too hot too quick. You can also use charcoal to smelt iron in a bloom furnace if you're into that sort of thing. Charcoal is great, I love working with it!
Doesn't need to be made in to ceramic, just fire hardened, ceramics are something totally different. It does work. We just made a similar sized kiln ourselves.
no bro..These bricks doesn't have that much stength to bear the vehicle loads. These bricks are only used for construction of buildings only #harishkumarr
Put the whole pile and pack it inside and out with manure dry manure use quite a bit of it you know 6 8 10 inches of manure completely around it then cover it with more mud and just basically bury the whole damn mess then lighter on fire and close up the air holes and just let it sit there and cook this will make all the bricks card and waterproof very old technique for making pottery I learned this watching the PBS about a Mexican kids made pots it was a kid show me and my wife tried it with the thoughts it'll work with bricks as well just Menard put up a barrier of rocks around the mess after you put the manure on it then cover it with mud laughing my dry before you fire

probably a wooden frame as big as you want it. but it seems like having no backboard or at least a removable backboard is the way to mold them without them getting stuck in the mold.
ryan B theyre probably weak. They weren’t cooked as long as long as they’re supposed to, not as high temps, not as dense becuz they were made with mud which has lots of organic matter which is removed as well as a the questionable sand and silt content which is probably way too high for a quality brick.
Thank you. I've seen parts of this process being performed, but never the entire thing. I appreciate your post.

Is this clamp burning?
So if I would aim 6 parabolic reflector made from satellite dish to the kiln would it work?
I'm not sure how you intend on using the dish to focus heat.
where does the smoke go? No chimney. How does it work?
How long to burn plz
That seems a bit much to have to repeat the process.
True
Guy in the background checking his twitter feed. Lol

How many days do you burn the bricks
It said 20 to 30 hours, then let it cool for two days
no way that got hot enough to fire those bricks into ceramic...dry them maybe.

Please upload frame from which bricks are made
probably a wooden frame as big as you want it. but it seems like having no backboard or at least a removable backboard is the way to mold them without them getting stuck in the mold.
Square roughly as big as you can make them
As long as they each match and are the same shape it doesn't matter for most applications
How much brick
Thanks
Hi sir good video. But finally bricks not showing
Are the bricks water-proofed after firing?
Yes 100%

Am really delighted men.can you use these kilned blocks to construct water tanks?
water tanks are made in india using these bricks and cement
कितने दिन तक आग जलाये रखना है बताये
Muy interesante gracias por compartir
Are these actual regular mud bricks, or are they clay bricks? just a high clay soil? or can you fire any mud brick?
For the brick to stay together after its dried like that it will be a high clay soil. Regular mud without clay content will just fall apart.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Veri good thank you
Pakne ke baad video kaha hai
