    You outgrow some people. Some people outgrow you. That's life.

    The government has made it so expensive to live that people don’t have time to waste respectfully. When life wasn’t so tight moneywise for everyone, people can relax and chill and hang out without any benefits, but with money being tight for everyone, you have to make money every second or opportunity you can and not waste any time.

    There’s friends that your loyal to, and then there’s people that have changed your life that you have to be loyal to. It’s a balance.

    I enjoyed this segment…I think you guys should continue this one.
    In my 20s I realized that I was the beneficial friend. Always the strong friend or that person you can borrow from. I stopped that shit going into my 30s and 😮‍💨 ppl started changing and distancing once I stopped being the one they always come to when you need a loan. I kept distant from getting close with ppl for years but now in my mid 30s I do open up to meeting new ppl and giving a chance but I am not the same.

      Loyalty is totally overrated. Unless you think of loyalty like an 11 year old. Loyalty is a tool used by the strong to control the weak.

    I agree with flip. I’m too grown to have different tiers of friends. Either we’re friends or not lol. Idk why people are making this topic difficult. If you feel the person isn’t genuine, cut them off lol. That simple 😊

  • @DWJ_Media1

    You can out grow friendships but some friends grow with you. That’s how you know who are the best friends of your life because your best friends will grow in life but also make time for you and be in your best interest, likewise for you as well. Your best friends will also challenge you to be better. Friendships can have different levels as well. You may have ppl you hoop with, and that’s all you do. It doesn’t go any further than that. So you can have ppl that you share activities with and that’s all it is. People need to stop calling everyone they hang with or share interest with their “best friends”, let people work towards that title.

    There's a difference in "being cool" with someone and "loyal". Not everyone deserves past the "oh we cool" level. Loyalty is no questions asked. It takes a lot more than helping me in that HS freshmen fight we were in, lol.

    Too much of anything will kill you you can’t hang out for too long. You can’t work for too long. It’s a balance. As you get older, you respect peoples time and your time and you can’t hang out with certain people for certain reason it doesn’t mean you don’t like them. You just have to move different when you’re older. Your friends will be doing the same thing to you so you have to respect it.

    I used to have the same view as Parks until a very good friend started an acting erratically. To be fair he developed PTSD and changed behavior. This is something that happens a lot though and people never get diagnosed with anything and the person does something out of character because they have in fact changed. Sometimes no one ever knows what happened, and the friends separate due to this.
    On another note, Notice how Joe got real quiet at the end 😂😂😂
    And also, why yall letting Ian stir up all this bullshit got yall questioning loyalty and friendship and all that loool

    The fear of taking risks will always keep people divided. Not to condone recklessness but promote faith. People are brave versus the branches but not the root. For example sex, some of the world's greatest risks come from it yet people still have it knowing those risks but have the audacity to be afraid of heights?

  • @quayondepetite2190
    @quayondepetite2190 Час назад

    Yes all relationships are transactional even if it’s just those friends you use for talks and laughs in some way it’s a transactional thing because if we can’t even share thoughts between eachother that one side or the other gains something from it what’s the point of the relationship the conversation even a stranger your not talking to unless you are doing so to say hello that in it’s self is a transaction of words and give me a reason to speak to or entertain you

  • @neeleen
    @neeleen Час назад

    Is it only me who figured out every friendshio is transactional?
    But money is the lowest form. A high transaction is positive emotional and care exchange.
    I was less than 12 yo when i figured that out. You have no good excuse.

  • @trivadpt
    @trivadpt 5 часов назад +5

    I believe relations need to be transactional to a point. If your on the side of GIVING and PROVIDING more or less EVERYTHING to a person, and you know that your own resources of provision are NOT infinite, and the person you are giving to is not recripocating that provision back to you.... eventually you WILL realise the importance of TRANSACTION. IM ONLY FOR TRANSACTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS NOW. I need stuff back in return.

    • @f8c3themusic
      @f8c3themusic 5 часов назад +3

      Agreed. It may sound harsh, but time is valuable as you get older and become more successful. So, any time outside spent with my girl or family has to be transactional. Either it’s fellowship with the close bros, motivating each other at the gym/exercising, or work/business-related. Otherwise, I’m good on hanging out.

    • @notreallyafamousartist695

      That’s not transaction that’s love and respect lmfao, transaction means the emphasis is on the transaction. You have a transactional relationship with your barber not your friend. And if your friend makes it transactional you’re now business partners not friends. If it’s one way now it’s just bad business 😹
