  • Mike Ditka gets pulled out of line by the TSA at the Denver Airport and given the enhanced patdown. Got decent video until the TSA officer intervened.

I haven't seen the TSA pull in along time, it seems that the random selections are going away

Based on KJHOFF314 picture in his RUclips account, he might be the TSA employee performing the illegal search. Some comments:
LEGAL: Administrative searches are still required to meet the 4th amendment as described in the Camara vs City of San Francisco decision, which was also referenced in the 1973 US vs Davis 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decision - the last decision is often cited by the TSA as the basis for their strip search scanner and sexual assault pat down 'legality'.

Just for the record, the TSA clerk who asked you to stop filming was wrong - filming is allowed, as long as it doesn't interfere with the screening process. This is even stated on the TSA website:
    tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/taking_pictures.shtm

US Code - Section 40103: Sovereignty and use of airspace
    (a) Sovereignty and Public Right of Transit. - (1) The United States Government has exclusive sovereignty of airspace of the United States. (2) A citizen of the United States has a public right of transit through the navigable airspace.
Anyone who says that flying or getting on a plane is not a right is naive

People that complain about the tsa procedures don’t realize we now live in a world where air planes get high jacked at flown into buildings and people strap bombs to their shoes and underwear

Cops aren't even allowed to do these extreme Pat Downs, just a quick external one for weapons.

It's now considered "totally professional" to lie to people in an attempt to cover up what they do for a living?

Should have been a strip search?
... might have such down all future TSA searches though.
Still would have been fun to watch .... and see if Ditka wound up bitch slapping someone for getting a lil too handsy.

#1, the TSA clerk LIED to the guy taping. TSA has openly stated that videotaping a TSA pat-down is ALLOWED. This is actually posted on their website. #2, how can you say that the TSA guys were "totally professional" when they were rubbing their hands all over the body of an innocent traveler, and sticking their fingers down his pants? You can be as nice as you want, but there is NOTHING professional about this intrusive grope. It's a blatant violation of our 4th Amendment rights.
