I wanted the fastback BADLY and could easily have bought one, but unfortunately my couch potato frame won't squeeze into those awesome sports seats. I ended up with the i30 Sedan N and I'm more than happy with it as we live in central Vic and often commute 150kms down the Hume Hwy and back again, which the sedan allows us to do in comfort. I still covet the Fastback however! :(
@@ProductReviewCars Well made and good value but avoid any transmission that is not traditional fluid torque converter reliability. 100% no no to any CVT, SST, DCT or any variation of these wet (or dry) ECU controlled gearboxes. They are garbage.

".....and priced from just over $50,000 Drive Away" - in what currency? You make that statement whilst displaying a graphics that shows they are "Priced from: $52,000* *before on-road costs as tested". This is hardly "just over" $50k! Add premium paint and a panoramic sunroof and you are closer to $60k Drive Away, however you'll be hard pressed to pay that little as dealers are openly admitting they are taking offers from prospective customers that is pushing the ACTUAL Drive Away price well over the $60k mark. I don't know which dealer you managed to snaffle this test car from, but whoever told you the price made sure they laced it with a fair helping of BS.
Pricing statement is correct. I choose to put the before on roads price since pricing varies state by state in Australia. Probably a good idea for me to mention how much the car we test costs with options too.
"Most unique"? The literal meaning of unique is "being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else". So is this model i30N Fastback is a Limited Edition which makes it reasonably rare, but far from "unique"! As a "motoring journalist" you should know better.
I’ve seen a lot of reviews of this car and this is the one I’ve watched fully. Very clean review, great angles. Great
Really appreciate the feedback. Thanks! 🙏
The exhaust sounds so great powerful sound❤ thankyou for sharing this video
Got mine after 15 months of waiting to Come from production in black color, love the car
Killer spec! Enjoy!!
Best looking of the three IMHO
I'm more of a fan of the traditional look of the hatch tbh
Great review, a new voice but nice to find someone who well researched the vehicle First .. Excellent
Cheers! Thanks for watching!!
Nice review. Best looking of the 3 i30Ns
Great review and this car is really good looking and I adore the boot space, the exhaust is off the charts awesome 😍😍😍
Really appreciate it! One of the loudest cars I've tested this year.
@@ProductReviewCars haha the exhaust is a good enough reason to buy it😁😁😁
Nice looking car. Nice reviews
Rear seat room is the same as hatchback, headroom is a little compromised, boot has more space!.
Are those sports seats as comfortable as the i30n sedan seats?
Less cushion, so not as comfortable. Bearable for long trips, but not more comfortable.

Would you buy this over a Model 3 RWD?
Not the same type of vehicle. But if I had to choose, I’d probably get this. For the fun factor alone.
Gee nice place you're at there, don't know, baby blue looks pretty good! Hatchback imo every day! It kicks i20N arse.
I've seen the i20N keep up nicely in tight corners compared to the far more powerful i30N tho!

@@theaustralianconundrumModern twin clutch transmissions are reiable. Technology has evolved.
They're different cars and I'd argue the i20N is better in corners.
Beautiful
Thats Not the „Special Edition“ its an normal Facelift I30 Fastback N …..
Nup. It’s limited in Australia. In other markets it probably isn’t.
Best safety and looking aggressive car! I love the car...Hyundai...
Prefer the hatch
Same tbh
