It looks always so light-handed when you are working on such projects - and your results are always inspiring myself (and surely a large TJ community, too)!
Use foam ear plugs to plug any bolt holes to avoid clogging them with bedliner. Also, it's not difficult to remove the center console. Maybe actually easier than trying to trim around it.
Not going to lie that didn’t turn out that great guys lol, I sprayed raptor liner all inside my tj you should’ve went with the raptor liner kit check it out, and sprayed it, would’ve been way faster and a much better finish and way more texture, you guys should go over what you did with it, good luck!
After you brushed it all. Could get the aresol can bedliner and give it a light spray to have a uniform texture. Looks much better. Also on masking things off can use aluminum foil for wires and etc, foam ear plugs for holes
@@Garagecouple The Rustoleum is just a paint, the Raptor liner is made of similar components used in spray on bedliners, it's just not as thick, but very durable. It is is a night and day difference, compared to Rustoleum. Buy once, cry once! You guys did an excellent job prepping the Jeep.
I remember doing this on mine! It's a huge project, but so worth it (boxliner is hard to keep clean though - and clean it off skin too, haha!). Just a heads up, too - be careful using regular sockets on an impact gun. They can explode (I know from experience, haha!).
With all the effort you put in the prep work a cheap spray gun would done wonders, maybe even looking a little professional. But I would be interested in a follow up review of the product.
Remove that center console it is actually really easy since yours does not have the airbag on/off controller. Then you can paint underneath it and then paint that center console.
I have a 2005 TJ I sanded down to the metal anything I work on and use epoxy primer. She needs a better mask for sanding.❤ use scotch Brite on any shiny. Automotive sells wax and grease remover before you paint.
Looking awesome, definitely am looking forward to do that to my jeep in the near future. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻can you please tell me what is the background music that you use for the video. 💪💪💪
I would’ve pulled the plug’s before painting it. Even if you don’t leave your top off and gets wet it’ll still stop rust in those spots. That’s what I did to mine. I left my windows out until winter

You're so kind! Thank you for your support!!
Love the neighbor peeking through the fence watching
A bit creepy lol

Good call!
11:57 Stalker behind the fence!😨
Seriously! So creepy

Actually really happy with the way it turned out!
Thats gnarly is my go to phrase. Nicely done!!
Oh cool! Thank you!
11:54 crepper spying through the fence..
Creepy

Nice job. Love watching you two. I have an ‘03 TJ rubicon. 95k miles. 5 speed manual. Love it.
Wow. Wicked nice! Although the 6 speed is night and day better, the 5 speed is very lovable too!
Good effort you can also try a small paint roller it gives a texture similar to a popcorn ceiling effect
Thank you! We had it but opted not to
Very nice job.
Thank you!!

After spending so much time prepping, a better choice would of been Raptor liner, the Rustoleum is not durable at all.
I guess we'll find out. It has really good ratings. The raptor liner was too expensive for us

Thanks for that! We just mainly wanted to do it in an affordable fashion. Maybe down the line we could raptor line over this bedline
@@Garagecouple Unfortunately you would have to strip off the Rustoleum, which will be a pain!
Hello from Spokane WA!
Hello!
Good job !!! 😎🤘🤘
Thank you
Should have sticked to carpet. Since it doesn’t look very neat. But good effort. Interested to seeing more work on this truck. Great initiative guys
Looks a million times better than the old carpet. It turned out better than we thought

Thank you for the pro tip! We try not too but do sometimes. Happy Sunday!
@@Garagecouple I've done it more than a handful of times - so hard to find the impact sockets sometimes, haha!
What Duralube Did Yo Use?

We love the way it turned out!
Awesome job. Has it lasted without any peeling or issues?

Yeah, very easy to remove. We just went around it and it looks great!

We use a lot of different music! Which one?
The one at the beginning of this video.
Will check and let you know!
Let's go by lansko! Actually all the names of the songs are in the video description
I paint houses all day. I agree with how much paint gets into the hilt of the bristles. Lol
Lol!!
Air craft remover would have saved so much time on stripping. Looks good though!
Easier to get a nylon cup brush to prep the surface. Way faster also

Really Nice work guys that looks Sweet.
Thank you!!!
Now I’m hungry. Lol
Sooo gooood
Stalker alert at 11:57.
Oh my gosh how creepy!! Good thing we have the gate now!
Jeep parts for give away… 👀
We have some good ones planned!
You should have primed and painted it. It will be so hard to ever do body work . 😢
Not really!
Y'all just motivated me to do this ✌🏻🦾 keep the good work guys
Do it! It looks great!
