In 1997 Till was asked about the meaning Tier lyrics. He answered:
"Animals like dogs or rats mate with each other, but there's no incest in that sense. That's nature. But man has the ability to think consciously, and if a father, looking at his daughter,that he himself fathered becomes horny, then that is no longer natural, but sick. That's what this song is about, drawing the line between instinct and reason on the blackboard. When someone goes on the prowl, it's disgusting, but when someone sneaks into their own daughter's room at night, I have this line in my head: 'You're still just an animal' "

Yeah, the girl locked in the metal hanging-cell is Richard's daughter. Today she's around 33 years old and plays mostly electronic music.
I took some time until I understood the full story in those verses. So here is my reading. The daugher that got raped in the first verse kills her father in the second verse. And then fakes a suicide note, by writing a letter from him to her. "Happy end" by Rammstein.
The girl is Khira Li Lindemann, Richard's daughter whom he had with Till's ex wife, hence the last name. She is a model and DJ now

One of my favorite songs because it's actually more than incest. Incest can happen with consent. But this is about child abuse and the consequences in the life of a girl to a woman now.
A young girl is raped by her father because he is an animal. As a woman later, she can no longer sees a difference between an animal and man and simply kills a man, which also makes her an animal. The song is hard and disgusting, but is actually tragic.
Rammstein has been around for 29 years, since 1994, so next year will be their 30th anniversary.

Khira Li Lindemann is the little girl in the Live From Berlin video during the song "Tier." She is not Till Lindemann's daughter, but Richard Z. Kruspe's (Leadguitar). After Till divorced his wife, she kept the name Lindemann.

This song itself, or atleast its first incarnation, is actually one of the oldest Rammstein songs, back when they only had about 6 songs in 1994. The original demo is a lot more raw and not as polished as this version, especially with all the synth in this. The demo is completely different on the song structure too and overall sound. I think it only exists as a live version that's not very good quality
