      Thank you! I was absolutely going for simplicity. I got it in Australia I think at a shop called Cotton On. But it’s been years :)

    Having done Caminos myself, I think you’ve made some very good recommendations. I found your story about the guy from Norway interesting. I agree with you. Part of the Camino experience (at least for me) is the ability to let go of things both physical and mentally. Very good insights Jess. The only thing we need now is more videos from you on your RUclips channel. 😊

    Hello, I'm planning to walk Oct 14 - Nov 9.
    What jacket do you recommend? Should I wear long sleeves?

    • @jessimoves
      @jessimoves  11 месяцев назад

      Hello! I wore a T-Shirt for walking during the day, a long fleece on top in the mornings or when it got chilly in the evening. Then a jacket that served as wind-blocker and rainjacket some days. Used this one when I got closer to Galicia and early November times. During the day the fleece was enough as well. So I didn't really wear the long sleeve. But every year the winter kicks in earlier or later, so best to check the weather forecast the week before you leave! Hope this helps and have the best trip! Buen Camino!

    Did you need to pack snacks every day or is there plenty of places to get food along the route?

    • @jessimoves
      @jessimoves  10 месяцев назад +2

      To be honest I didn’t pack anything besides some nuts in case the post coffee shakes kick in :) It depends on the camino you chose, but on the Frances and Portuguese there are definitely places every couple of kms. No need to worry!

      Thanks John! I linked most of my items in the description! It's from Decathlon, was very happy with it. I found 30 litres perfect for me, but I am more of a minimalist packer. It even survived a full hot washing machine wash after a bed bug infestation :)

    Hello Jess what was the weather like in the October and November months? Thank you

    • @jessimoves
      @jessimoves  11 месяцев назад +1

      I walked end of October and beginning of November. My day to day outfit was a pair of leggings and a t-shirt, in the morning and evening with a fleece jacket. So between 15-20°C, mostly sunny, I had around 3-4 rain days but nothing too bad. A medium thick sleeping bag that I needed (see video). Really recommend this time of year! Autumn on the Camino is great! 🙌🏼
