The thing about the draft is if it's not the absolute obvious choice like Caitlyn Clark who is a generational talent then you gotta take who fits your team's needs the most. You gotta remember it's not the team owner who makes these choices, it's the GM and Coach and the rest if the staff who collaborate. They can lose their job if they miss badly. Brink was the best choice at #2 for the sparks. Af also doesn't hurt that she's extremely marketable.
