The issue with putting wider ties on say 19mn rims is it makes the tire light bulb shaped making you have to lean further into the turn to get the Side knobs to engage. And if you put a say 29.25 on a 35mm rim. The tire won't be rounded enough causing the tire to be flat across the treed pattern making the side knobs Engage way too soon in a turn. If you look online you can find tire size charts that show the range of sizes that are best for Any particular rim size. Meaning the inner width of course. I hope that helps. However if there's slicks it really shouldn't matter. At least when it comes to a bigger tire on a finner rim. But if you put a thin slick on a wide rim you're gonna end up with a Is square tire. That's gonna increase the rolling speed of the slick. Basically defeating the purpose of putting slicks on your bike.

The frame can't fit the tire lol
You didn't even test it or anything. Should've made a few runs, tried to take corners, have a timed challenge or two.
My old tires read 26x1.50 can 26x2.125 be comparable?
Yes, make sure the inner width of the rim is at least 20mm.
Dt swiss ex471 rim, 25 inner, 30 outer. Is it matchable with this tire?
Is it?
