I had a '94 Civic back in like 2014 that the previous owner had gutted the interior besides the seats and dash basically and cut the A/C belt because the compressor was locked up. Bought the car for like $700 and it was the baby 1.5 liter with a manual. I beat the piss out of that thing and swear I never averaged below 40 mpg. It was nuts.
I can't remember for sure, but I THINK it remembers your last settings. Otherwise just make sure to take note at what efficiency level you have it set at and what engine size you have and just set it back to those same setting after you plug it back in.
You will always use slightly more gas when the A/C is running as opposed to with it not running, but this device is not going to know if the A/C is on or not. It’s just going to tell you calculated MPG.
After a few tanks of fine tuning, usually within 1 mpg. There’s so many variables it’s impossible to get perfect, even vehicles with MPG gauge from factory are usually off a bit.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy i mean you can install a coal liquiadiner to turn into oil and then purify the oil to gas and feed the gas into the gas tank free fuel! with just coals
Thanks for the video, well done! Looking into getting one of these for my Civic HX, I'm always on a fuel mileage quest with that car.

@@TonyTheTruckGuy Hahaha! Those old little Hondas are great for cheap fun and low cost visits to the gas station.
What happens if I get a check engine light and unplug it to check the light.. will it take awhile to reprogram again

@@TonyTheTruckGuy ok thanks
Brother do you have a link of where you purchased this handy little item.
Indeed! I have the link in the video description right above all the time stamps 👍
@@TonyTheTruckGuy thanks, must have just over looked it.
Looks like an awesome device.
@@coyotesnper No worries, lots of crap in the video description haha. It’s definitely a neat little device.
Did he save you fuel?
The device itself does not get your any better mpg, it just calculates what you’re getting and can “coach” you into getting better mpg.
How accurate can you get yours to be? I have one on my tundra 4.7 can't seem to get it to match my calculations on full up
