This (the green whistle) is best tool ever to have in your 1st kit. No pills or sharps fast acting. Works well with Cronic pain. A little bit dirty on your lungs (black residue) I give this product 10/10
It's been encouraged as an alternative to morphine during transport to hospital or when applying traction to reset a broken bone. The reason being is that while penthrox has side effects; all medicines do. It is much safer to use than than the opiate morphine because it doesn't suppress the respiratory system. It's only supplied in small dose packs, reducing the risk of overdose; 1 whistle and 1 pentrox capsule. The administering medic only needs to remember that they can only give a maximum of 1-2 whistles depending on their department policies. More of the population can actually use penthrox with fewer reactions than morphine. It's a self administering drug. However, although the UK and Europe have approved penthrox, it's only used as a short-term pain relief.
Right, but isn't penthrox known to cause liver and kidney damage? I thought that's why they took methoxyflurane (active ingredient in penthrox) off the market in North America. So why is it being approved elsewhere? I agree wholeheartedly with this sort of approach to emergency pain management. I'd just like to know that it's safe or at least as safe as possible. As in the case of nitrous oxide when given as a 70/30 mix of nitrous and oxygen. But I also know methoxyflurane is a lot more effective and portable than nitrous. So I can definitely see the upside to using it over nitrous. Don't see how it would work for dental medicine, though.
Hello, can somebody from management/the board please explain why your shares have dropped so much? I have just been offered an entitlement offer which is at $2.00 per share. The facts are that I purchased your shares at $5.05 and todays price at the ASX is $1.86. Why on earth would I want to take up your offer at $2.00?
Is 'penthrox' a green house gas? As a flourinated carbon product can this lead to damage to the ozone layer? What are the advantages to n20/o2 gas analgesia already available?
@@ARSZLB I used two whistles recently when I fractured my femur. Here in Australia. I had to wait six hours for an ambulance. Thank God the Ambos had these to give me. Bloody brilliant and so far no side effects.
Mann I have no illnesses I just wanna get high 😂😂
Mee

Cost is £1700 approx each pen. So not cheap.
Wtf so expensive :
It is £17.89 for each pen in the UK ( bnf.nice.org.uk/medicinal-forms/methoxyflurane.html )
US prices.
@@Tom-kt8lu if it's £18...that's only $23

We need this in the U.S.
it is about 300usd for 10ml x 10 so expensive. My point everyone should have one at home/car just in case. All in all, I think it is overpriced.
Vidmantas Glinskas True, but I’d pay a lot for 30 min with no pain.
You could get 10 viles/ "pens" for $300...only if you're a licenced distributor of medication
Ok that's great, mut WHAT IS IT EXACTLY?
Australia HERE I COME !!!!!!

Seriously, this does the job of IV sedation, nitrous oxides and IV opioid analgesia, all in one.
Is 'penthrox' a green house gas? As a flourinated carbon product can this lead to damage to the ozone layer? What are the advantages to n20/o2 gas analgesia already available?
Such gas analgesia is mostly not available in a preclinical setting, so generally, this would be an improvement.
My brain capacity can not understand this..
Holy shit can’t understand this speak English please XD
There’s so little it doesn’t matter.
About time instead of using too much ketamine
It’s Weed in a whistle
Zeddrick Ngateg It’s nitrous in a whistle.
Tom Ashton it’s vaping perk
@@Tom-kt8lu it is not nitrous gas^^

not even close to anything you people are comparing it to.
Where do I get I from
Its like drugs
you have to have a special license and training as it is a controlled drug for medicinal usage only
I want to be a doctor

Why doesn't the US fund this?
can cause kidney damage, personally i think the risk is minimal though

No wonder its not used in The U.S......the opioid enclave doesn't like competition 🤔
Npw its 25€
Chinese copy is aviable
That looks better than weed
I need to invent one of cocaine and or meth.
I would become rich just selling it here at my neighborhood lmao
that literally makes no sense, it’s an impossibility
Is it bad that I’m getting high on Penthrox watching this?
I mean if you don’t have 11 fingers then it’s bad
is it bad that nobody believes you?
We call those whippets in the street
Different thing.
You're thinking of no2. Nitrous oxide.
This is methoxyflurane
