The end of this where she tells the family they will get $5M I’d incredibly distorted. The attorneys get 40% plus expenses. At best, they would have been given about half of that. But the actual true story of disturbing. The attorney’s tried time after time to keep more of it and were extremely slow at writing the checks to the families. I was part of a lawsuit many years ago where we also had to go to arbitration. On the first sit down the opposing party offered us $200k. We rejected the offer and as we were leaving I fanned out some photos of the damage they caused my wife. They were gruesome and even our own attorneys hadn’t seen them. We left Houston later that day and flew back home to Nashville. Three days later we got a call and they had raised their offer to $335k. Our share, which they wired to is later that week was around $196k. Even with that out attorney was more than fair on what they charged us in expenses. So it’s offensive to say the family will get $5M.
None of them got 5 million. They received $25,000 to $100,000. To find out the truth really angered me. I dont like this movie anymore because I feel it's a lie. It should say based on true events not based on a true story. I am sorry about the pain your wife went through.

I love this screen, why do people that wear fancy clothes and work high end jobs think that common people are stupid. I mean it doesn’t take a genius or a Harvard degree to find evidence on something like this case. It’s sad that a country with some money can’t even provide clean water 💧 for their citizens. Sometimes I wonder why my parents came here. I am afraid 😳 to bath 🛀🏻 here.
