I was lucky to have met the actor who played Ultraman at Comic-Con and i still get excited to see the monsters and Ultraman at my age. I just want to say thanks to all those people involved for bringing this together and a big thanks to those who put those monster costumes on. I know that's not easy to be in those things , it couldn't have happened otherwise.
I feel Kingsaurus III is a big homage to both Pagos and Gavora. All three are quadruped monsters who fed on uranium and in Gavora's case, fought the OG Ultraman (before it was retconned that is). So I think it's pretty neat thinking of the similarities of the three monsters. 😁
Okay! so it's a re-use of the original Baragon suit; with different paint/head...Which (working out the timelines) then inspires the D&D "Bullette" from a toy of it, ...to then inspire the skull crawlers from Legendary's Kong, many years later....
It came out before Destroy all Monsters however the Baragon suit was altered for another (probably this one) and wasn't ready for Destroy all Monsters. In fact there was a difference in heads between Frankenstein Conquers the World and the end of Destroy all Monsters
My 8 year old is gonna roast how bad this looks compared to 2014 to 2021 . Hes a godzilla nut and watches the classics from time to time. I wont hear the end of this one 😢
Gabora with its mask thingy looks much cooler. Instead of looking like your typical reptilian Kaiju, it looks a bit like a bug too. Kinda reminds me of the skullcrawlers and even the MUTOs
