What is unacceptable is the non stop yapping from him. I cannot stand him as a commentator. He talks incessantly, he feels the need to show off all the time. He just not the star, the players are, let the games breathe, let the listener enjoy the sound the the balls, the crowd, and add comments here and there. Stop yapping.
@@renaudmichel1 Ohhhhhh Michel I thought I was the only one in the whole world thinking the same. I have a big problem with this character named Adam Bobrow (because he is almost like a cartoon), I turn the volume very low to try to only hear the ball and the audience because I really, really can't stand his constant showing-off attitude, his unnecessary and unrelated comments about things that nobody cares, and especially his "mind reading" powers, wow, I don't know how he can tell us what the player was planning to do, I am a table tennis player and quite often things just happen without you planning it, I know pros are much more accurate but in many plays, it is obvious that they didn't plan it that way. I enjoy it much more when other commentators narrate the games or even when nobody does it. At the recent Olympic Games during one of Sweden’s games, he said something like “You can see here how "unpredictable" Sweden is when placing the ball”, right, because all the other teams place the ball only in one place! And one minute later he explained to the audience with all his wisdom that the player hits the ball differently every time and aims at a different place depending on the situation, hahahaha I could have never thought that by myself, I thought it was like in a game of darts where all the players aim always to the same point, using the same technique, and the same arm movement! It's funny how he shows off by saying he has coached some players like Jörgen Persson (yes, the Swedish coach we see at some games), hahaha, have you seen this guy playing? I would be embarrassed to say I coached someone as good and legendary as Persson and play the way he plays. Unfortunately, we will have to put up with him for a long time, listening to his funny jokes, his knowledge about the players' pets, his biased comments, and his non-stop yapping.
@@Alexander3487 hehe we are on the same page, I agree with every words you write. We are not the only ones, two days ago on a live feed on one of the matches, I put a real-time comment about him, saying that I cannot stand the way he speaks non-stop, he was so getting under my skin, and many others reacted positively to my comment, actually to my surprise because I feel hs cultivates almost a cult following. Several people commented that Borrow knows so much less about the game than some pros who comment games at times, and that his comments in fact show his lack of technical knowledge. Comment also supported this annoyance at him showing off incessantly with anecdotes about himself, the constant nicknaming, the insipid description of shots, etc. Oh man, like you said, unfortunately, we have no choice, he will be around. Give me that British man any time of the day, so pleasant to listen to, it is never about him and it is never overwhelming. I would vote for him accompanied by a former player who can add some technical or strategic comments at times.
@@renaudmichel1 Ohhh I am happy that there are more people who understand that this guy is annoying. You are 100% right, many follow him as if he's "the guy" to go when you want to learn about table tennis. He has a good voice and he enunciates properly but his attitude, his arrogance, and the amount of unnecessary comments make the experience of watching a game unbearable. There are two other British guys, one younger than the other, the older one worked with Bobrow in the Olympics and he started to copy a little bit of his unnecessary comments, this younger guy working now during the China Smash is better.
Yes, Ma Long... The sense of occasion one feels when one watchs him play. What a sportsman, what a man.
What an amazing performance MaLong ❤
Really cool to see all those other Chinese players. Also, great match from Kim Naeyong and Mima Ito, with an amazing ending :)
malong🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
МА взял реванш над этим корейцем, показал, кто тут Батя😂😂😂
Красавчик))))
Лебруны поехали до дому, пока, пока😂😂😂😂
how is Adam's mic so low? this is just unacceptable
