These are all really great fragrances on their own. Glad to see you saved a spot for Fahrenheit. I also own the Le Parfum, and the now rare-to-find flankers -Aqua and Absolute. Bottom line: women who already know their Fahrenheit will always pinpoint its scent (OG edt) at any stage... I mean, how iconic is that!? Much appreciated, Josephine - Ricardo
Great list! They are iconic. My favorite house that I have the most of is Issey Miyake. The original STILL pulls compliments. I haven’t worn a better cologne that makes my wife as crazy as it does. I was wearing it when we met and I'm still wearing it 18 yrs later. The crisp, fresh, wood, and light musk is truly unique. Fall and winter I'll wear their Pour Homme Nuit EDP. The Fresh, wood, & leather is masculine and elegant. However, a recent one I'll rotate in for fall/winter is Cremo Spice and Black Vanilla. It smells EXACTLY like Spicebomb Extreme but only $25 with good longevity.
Great video, as always! Of the 10 mentioned here, Imy favorites would be Dior Homme, Terre d'Hermès and Oud Wood. I would've included l'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme. I think it is definitely a must have in all men's collections.
Thank you for your wonderful choice. Fahrenheit and Acqua di Parma have been around the house for many years, although I myself don't wear Fahrenheit - it is the other half of me... That being said, i think it is a small masterpiece, and very, very original. In my all times favourites I have Monsieur Chanel, Concentré d'Orange Verte and Vétyver de Guerlain. Thanks a lot.

I own 5 of these. I have been wearing Fahrenheit off and on for almost 30 years. The original formula was the best but still a great scent. I would add Sauvage to the list as well as maybe a couple from Boss, Guy Laroche, and maybe Davidoff or Ralph Lauren.
I love your picks. I used Terre D’Hermès for a while but retired it. May be time to reconsider it. Love wearing Oud Wood in my current fragrance rotation and also Tobacco Vanille.

Very artistic choices ma'am. The inclusion of gentlemanly scents like AdP Colonia is very well appreciated-a quality that nowadays seems to be overlooked more often than not by the younger generation. There are already two iconic Dior scents and yet, if I may, I'd like to hint at the original Eau Sauvage EdT by the great Edmond Roudnitska, one of the pillars of modern perfumery. Also, I'd like to mention L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme, as it does have a bit of a cult following-and very rightfully so, in my humble opinion. Thanks again for the great work. Cheers.
Speaking of 25-year-old fragrances. I have to say, thanks for the Azzaro Chrome recommendation. That orangey jasmine, the freshness and those kind of powdery, mossy woods are pretty charming and well done. I can see it being up there at my top in relative warm weather and wearing at any given time then.
Loved this list! Need to add Farenheit to my collection. Also, would have loved to see Antaeus here, but, I know it suits a peculiar taste. Not for the many!

Nice choices. Personally I don't find Terre de Hermes a Vetiver dominant fragrance. Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford though is and probably the best designer Vetiver fragrance.
Agree with your comment on V&R Spicebomb, I find the original really very interesting, to my nose possibly more than the extreme. I have the Extreme already but will add the OG to my collection. Among the others I have Fahrenheit, Bleu de Chanel, YSL La Nuit de L'Homme, and Terre de Hermes EDT (and the Parfum.) Acqua de Parma Colonia is in my wish list :)

I am 58 years old and have been using Dior Homme since its first day. Since they changed it I have been trying to find an alternative tried a lot of different perfums and watch numerous videos on perfums. Result I am as confused as ever. Any suggestions ??? Tried Oud wood Byredo accord oud guerlain bois mystérieux and relevant. By the way excellent french accent.
Funny enough I have a video coming out soon on an alternative for Dior Homme. I wouldn’t say it’s a dupe for Dior Homme but if you like that fragrance then you’ll love the one I’ll be recommending!
Hi Josephine I own 7 out of 10 from the mentioned fragrances and they all really great desinger fragrances 👍 Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L'Homme is one of my all time favourite desinger fragrances. The vintage version is clearly the best (big spray head, metal cap and four digit batch code) but the mid-end 2019 batch, for example 38S900P, is good in terms of the scent DNA and the longevity. Thank you for video Josephine! From this list I own Ysl la nuit and JPG le male edt. La nuit (2018 batch) hasn't on my skin such a bad longeverty. From all fragrances I own I got and (still) get the most compliments with the original Le male. Even more then some niche fragrances I own. Longeverty (2018 Puig batch) on my skin way better then the Le parfum version.
Niche fragrances are not primarily about compliments, but about a special scent compositions, which is why they are niche. Most of the desinger fragrances are primarily designed to be likeable an crowd pleasing.
Profumo doesn’t have good performance either, at least on my skin. It is still a nice Dna and one of the few perfumes that actually got me compliments.

Can you really wear profumo in summer? Cause they say in high heat it is like annoying or its so dark that its not preferable in high heat, just summer night... Please tell me if its okay in high heat, cause here in my country we only have sunny and rainy season, which is everyday is always hot🇵🇭
I still have a bottle of la male from 2010 that one lasts so long compared to the bottle i bought this year which projects no where near as much as my older bottle. My old bottle is a boss.

Terre d'Hermes vetiver? Well not in the way I like it and the way vetiver should be presented. Guerlain Vetiver is the way to go. Strong and nearly chokey scent. Real art work.
Pfuuuhh. Spicebomb is amazing yaeehh. It plays aaaall day on my skin. I already have a Bvlgari Man in Black( 2015 years batch) its more oriental and for nighttime i guess. I also have a Jpg Le Male. But here is issue because everyone forgot what is Le male. I have 1996 batch , 2000 and also 2011. 1996/2021 here is no comparison. Vintage one is more body, more spiciness and is way more natural smelling.
I guess I'm a fragrance fanatic, lol. I either currently own, or have owned almost everything on this list. The only one I have not owned is Aqua Di Parma.

Yes it's similar to the intense but has more of a powdery "lipstick vibe" compared to the intense and is less sweet too. Hope this helps!
