      The way you are describing things are exactly like abhrahmics.
      Hinduism has never been religion, it's a practice of life.
      Some believed in vedic form of life and others did not.
      There is no absolute path to achieve spiritual conscious.
      It's a long journey of seeking. But u r behaving like an abhrahmic and that defeats the whole purpose of sanatan way of life.

    • @kumarabhishek5652
      @kumarabhishek5652 3 года назад +3

      @Madhav Sharma
      People here morphed some practices into a religion as a resistance to abhrahmics.
      It's hard to convince mass about principles of dharma. To save this ideology, certain morphing has been done in the past.
      But blind believing was not there in ancient India.

      The Abrahamic ideology very nature is predatory soteriological and proselytizing.

      To think because someone is a scholar means they have nothing to gain by distorting fact or being dishonest is about the most insane thing I have heard recently. Many scholars purposefully mislead, distort facts and flat out lie for many many reasons. Some innocently as they have been taught by the colleges who are funded by the exact people who hide much history and lie to their students and then the student believes a lie and innocently continues teaching what they were taught and then you have those who have more gains in more ways then I can even express to teach certain things. Not saying this guy is any of those but most are not honest wether knowingly or not and the higher one goes up the food chain the more incentives they would have to do so.

    Brilliant perspective. I don't always agree with Razib, but I always like to listen to him as he always has well thought, coherent arguments. The 25:00 mark was perhaps the most important. The significance of making Hindutva appealing to an international audience. One of the best arguments came from Rajiv Malhotra's Being Different where he mentions "Mutual Respect" and "Reciprocity" being the cornerstone of Bharatiya culture. These are probably the key ingredients to a truly pluralistic society. Imagine a society where you don't just tolerate the other, but celebrate the other, share with the other, cherish the other and exchange ideas with the other without losing your core identity. India is already that to an extent.

    Good Lord! This guy knows us or what. He not only shows us the mirror, but with such clarity it's embarrassing. He knows us so damn well, he understands us and where we come from, probably his Bangladeshi roots and knowledge of the social injustices against hindus in Bangladesh helps him read us so well. He also understands why the lay Hindu nationalist are prejudiced and skeptical about his intent thays cause he has a Muslim name and there are centuries old inherent trust issues at play here. He is amazed how nonchalant we are about our future. Kya qtiya log hai.. 😂
    These are the kind of intellectually honest and brilliant allies we need to fight our fight for survival.
    Kaha kaha se dhund ke laate ho inhe Abhinav bhaiyya?!!?
    Btw Khan saya "Hindus are not genocidal Against Muslims". But what about the repeated Hindu genocide commuted by Muslims in last thousand years, what about the Kashmir genocide or the latest Bengal genocide of Hindus. Who is going to address this, talk about this in the West. Hope long will Islam get away with their murderous past and present. What makes it OK when Islamic groups commit genocide on a daily basis in Africa. What if other religions start getting radical and hitting back, going on the offensive, are they being punished for not hitting back??

      There is this weird thing going on among the Western Left (which controls the media and much else) whereby they have become friendly toward Islam and try to court them politically even though they are fundamentally opposed to each other on a number of social issues.

    The message that hindus or people of the dharmic traditions should spread the gift of liberation/moksa/nirvana/enlightenment or whatever you call it.
    We must unconvert the people to liberation. For that we need active institutions that are not shy to do it.
    Because those who convert people are not shy, they are aggressive and active.

    First 8 min, stopped at secular point- secularism is great when its an option to Abrahamic oppressive religions. In Bharat, Sanatan traditions are anyway evolved on multifiold logic and experiential evidence hence scientific in nature! Hence Ethos of sanatan is inclusive! Hence their intereference in state would never be a problem! Hence western secularism is useless in Bharat while its a must in France!

    If you want to compare other countries like Japan with India, I would say that another factor to consider is homogeneity and language. Japan is largely speaking a single language, while India had to resort to English for communication across the country and avoid any linguistic conflicts. But this has invited unwelcome scrutiny and interference from the western countries.

    • @user-jn1ts4wl1c
      @user-jn1ts4wl1c 2 года назад

      Also with the fact that India has got many languages spoken by people of different ethnicities and tribes. Because of that you need some sort of intermediary for people to communicate.

    India can only move forward after 1. discussing our historical wounds openly and honestly 2. Having these conversations among our own people rather than using external colonial forces to 'help' us because their intention is seldom good. Razib is absolutely right that we also need basically a better PR campaign for the West, something sorely missing in India. It's ironic to me tha the West which talks about cultural relativism and in not being racist is so exceptionally blind in how remarkably racist its institutions - whether academia or the media - are.
