    Nicely done video for this shadow box. I made one from your plans including the burnt pine finish, added a felt liner, and a plexiglass latch to keep the glass in place. It came out great. Thanks for the nice step by step instructions.

    Hey. Great video and thank you for the useful info. Is there a way to do the grooves without the larger machinery? I live in a flat and I don't have access to those things. Wondering if it's possible to make with hacksaws and other hand tools?

      I don't see why not. A small palm router with a flush cut bit and a guide would achieve the same thing as well.
