Back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s I spent 18 summers in Cooperstown going to Camp Otsego, going from youngest camper to Head Counselor. I think I saw every Disney movie ever made during that time period in that theater! Thanks for bringing back to this now old lady many wonderful memories.
I am so glad you got to see Cooperstown, went there over 10 years ago and not being a baseball fan, found it to be a great museum. The town is so wonderful to walk around, makes you want to live there. I was so amazed at how many farms were in upper New York, beautiful countryside, drove around the Finger lakes which is a nice drive. When most people think of New York, they only think of the big city not realizing the rest of the state. Thanks for showing us more of this great country!
When I was in little league, our youth club organized a trip and game with another local youth league team. I got to play on Doubleday Field, and went 2 for 3 lol. Baseball was my sport. Great place to visit, great memory.
That lil village is just pristine. It's nice to see how well maintained they keep it. Great place for that museum, they have so many items it's amazing. Thanks for the ride again! Keep em coming!
My Dad visited Cooperstown many many years ago while traveling on business. He wasn’t a sports guy but he went there anyways and brought me back some momentos probably knowing I may never get to visit. So far he has been correct. Thank You & I miss you Dad
Born and raised in Cooperstown. Glad you made it to Cooperstown. The mound you mention is called "Indian Mound", burial of hundreds of Indians. The Smalley's theater was our local movie theater for years and years. We use to host the Hall of Fame Game every year with two major league teams at Doubleday Field. Much more in Cooperstown to see!
Adam what a great vlog to wake up to, I’m an avid baseball fan and what a privilege to walk with you through the baseball Hall of Fame and I’m certain will be a memory you’ll carry for the rest of your life! Thanks for this great vid!
Don't know nothing about baseball, but totally get how excited you and Max were visiting the Hall of Fame, loving seeing all the scenic views, very relaxing whilst having my coffee and biscuits Thankyou Adam and Max
Welcome to NYS Adam. I lived in Syracuse for about 20 years. It's pretty nice outside of NYC even with the snow ❄. I hope you enjoy your trip there 😊. I'm glad you called Cooperstown a Village. They call towns Villages in NY.
The guy that coined the phrase "Play Ball" is buried here in Oregon...⚾️🧢Awesome that you guys got to experience this. When Max was reading that it reminded me of Goonies when they found the map..hahaa yeah the mini bat handouts don't even happen anymore...hahaa
Loved this Vlog! Called my husband in to watch. He is from a village 30 min NE of Cooperstown called Fort Plain. We paid many a visit to Cooperstown on our way to visit family. Such a beautiful quaint area. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories. 🥰
I had the privilege of meeting Ty Cobbs son Jim, when I lived in Santa Maria CA. Every morning like clock work, he went by for his morning walk. Chatted with him several times, and he was just a lovely, lovely man. Full of spunk still in his older age, and quite the talker. Lots of stories. Bless his heart :)
Great video Adam. I did the baseball card in the bicycle spokes thing back when I was a kid. I am 68 and still remember those great days growing up in this wonderful country. It really was a great time to follow baseball and football. Miss those simple days.
Yay! I worked at The Otesaga on the golf course where I met a few awesome players. My favs were Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford. Also worked at a pizza shop one summer around the corner from the hall of fame. Miss the mountains and the fresh air! Safe travels!
Last Labor Day weekend, I went for the first time in 25 years with 3 friends of mine who had never been. Watching this video makes it feel like I've gone back a year later. Glad to see you had a great time.
YESS! Love Cooperstown, just a short drive for me, definitely worth the visit if you are a baseball fan. Glad you enjoyed it and shared your experience.
Getting to visit the Hall of Fame has always been a bucket list item for me. I lived 2 1/2 hours south of there many moons ago and I remember driving through the village with my grandfather as a kid. That is a beautiful area loaded with history! We didn't end up going to the Hall that day however, it'sstill on my list. Thanks for the video bro, this was sweet.
Love Cooperstown! Have to go for an induction weekend it's like Disneyland for baseball fans everyone having a good, time celebrating baseball, and former players everywhere. Been lucky enough to go to three weekends for Tony Gwynn & Ripken Jr., Trevor Hoffman, & Edgar Martinez.
Cool little village. Definitely has the baseball theming everywhere. You are knocking off places on your bucket list this road trip. Heard you say it several times now. 👍🏻
This was awesome. I've never been there. Even the mannequins are so lifelike. WOW such baseball history... I'm glad you got your souvenirs/purchases. great video, Adam and Max, too 👏 ⚾️ 👏
Nice to see - I love Cooperstown, and that part of New York State. We lived there from 2002 to 2009, and would go on day-trip drives to see what was about. So beautiful! I said, "It's so beautiful here! Why would anyone ever leave?" as in going west, and my husband said, "I imagine after a while it got full." Pretty sure I recognized some of those silos and barns....I'm only at 3:50 now, so I look forward to the rest of your visit. 😉👍🏻
I'm glad you finally made it to the baseball hall of fame. Cooperstown is such a great place to visit! I would also recommend the Yogi Berra museum in New Jersey.
I've Been to Cooperstown for two induction Ceremonies. I was there when Cal Ripken Jr and Tony Gwynn were inducted and also when Eddie Murray, Gary Carter and Bob Eucker. We're big Orioles fans so that's why we were there. Nothing like a Hall of Fame Ceremony. Be sure to go one year for a ceremony you won't regret it. Thanks for sharing
This is still on my bucket list!! Thanks for sharing it though for those of us who have not made it there yet, or as time passes may not! Exciting unbelievable archive!!
Your love and appreciation of the game of baseball shines thru and makes this so enjoyable to watch. By far the best baseball-themed vid you've ever done, Adam!
I went to Cooperstown for the first time back in 1985. Me and my friend, went to the Hall of Fame in the morning, went for lunch across the street at the Cooperstown Diner and then went to that old movie theater and saw Back To The Future. After the movie, we went back to the Hall and finished our tour. Thanks Adam for the memories.
Hey Adam, can’t be in that part of the world and with your love of baseball and not stop by the museum in Cooperstown. One of the least shocking stops on trip, lol. Have a great day!
On your baseball themed travels you should stop by Louisville and check out our Louisville Slugger museum. Its a really cool tour where you can watch all the MLB bats being made along with alot of historical items to view. Also check out our baseball team the Bats if they're are in town. Filming locations also for Stripes and Elizabethtown.
So cool seeing you bounce around the area's I've spent so much time in. I grew up in Western NY, went to college in CNY (about 40 minutes from Cooperstown) and now live in Eastern NY. I love my home and there is so much history here. Saratoga race course opens next week. Should swing up and check out the track, racing hall of fame and Saratoga region (battle of Saratoga!)
Moved to Saratoga the first day of 2020 and been loving it here! He definitely needs to come visit! I didn’t even know the race track was opening so soon! I hope to check it out finally!! Thanks :)
I’ve never lived more that 2 hours from Cooperstown so I’ve been to the HOF more times then I can remember. I’m glad you had fun and found a few Rays relics. Thanks for swinging through my neck of the woods.
Had to reverse the video many times to rewatch. So lucky to get to visit. Your appreciation of the history is noted. Hope to stand in your footsteps someday!
Thanks alot Adam. I live near Cooperstown and been a diehard Rays fan for 20 years and I'm in my mid-30s. Wish I knew you were coming by, would've loved to meet you.
16:55 was one of my favorite parts of this video. 'The Simpson's' did a spoof of that bat, Homer had his 'Wonderbat' with the same font and lightning bolt. One of the best episodes ever. Bo Jackson: greatest athlete in Nintendo NES Tecmo Bowl in the late 80s. Agh, the wonder years.
I love that museum, went to it about 30 yrs ago. If you want a semi filming location, go to Binghamton, NY little more than an hour south of Cooperstown. It is hometown of Rod Serling, creator of Twilight Zone. You can ride the carousel that inspired the episode "Walking Distance". I know this because my Mom is from there and I rode it a lot as a kid.
❤Glad to see you came back to NY to visit Cooperstown. I hope you checked out the lake also! Maybe next time you can swing through the Adk's and check out Lake Placid. Loving Cow Bell Max too!! Safe travels guys!
OMG, Adam and Cowbell Max. This was great. From the countryside to Cooperstown. Thanks for taking me somewhere I would love to go but probably will never get there. It brought back so many childhood memories. I loved it!!! Thanks again guys. Be safe and Happy Trails.
Just got back today from my first time ever going there. One of my favorite places I’ve ever been and it’s sad because Im out on Long Island I should’ve done this years ago! But I’ll definitely be going back! Happy to see you had fun too!
This is so cool. I am a baseball junkie. I love the scenery. I grew up on a farm. I bet my mom regreted me being the only girl out of 9. I love baseball, football and loud cars....lol Thank you Adam...
This is so cool I ended up going to Cooperstown in 2018 and loved it I am a huge Colorado Rockies fan so I will be back here when Charlie Blackmon gets in the Hall of Fame I ended up going to the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame in the NFL Hall of Fame in the baseball game right entire month it was awesome enjoy it is well worth it
Really enjoyed watching your visit to Cooperstown with Max. I have been a baseball fan since I was old enough to hold a bat. All the neighborhood kids played on the common until it was too dark to see the ball. I love baseball and I am sure I would like Cooperstown, but I don't travel anymore. My favorite pitcher is Randy Johnson. He was so tall and a good player.
It's a beautiful area this time of year. The corn is "knee-high by the 4th of July" is the measure we watch for fresh corn growing. Adam being your in central NY you might check out Letchworth State Park. Nationality known as the "Grand Canyon of the East". Obviously not as large as the Grand Canyon but 26 miles of fantastic views and waterfalls. I wouldn't recommend it if it was a dud ..lol
You just took me on a tour of another one of my bucket list locations!! I will make it to Cooperstown one day to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame in person! I never realized before how cute and quaint the surrounding area is! Now I want to live there! Seriously Adam, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your experiences.

If you could do something on that, it would be great.
Just visited the graves of Benedict Arnold's children, near Brockville, Ontario. Very interested in visiting DeWint House. Thanks for mentioning. I am in Toronto area and have visited Cooperstown twice. Awesome!
Cool vlog....Angel fan since I was younger, some day I will make it to Cooperstown, just like a couple of Angels who are playing now. Of course they will be inducted...😀
Thank you so much for not only posting this video (my husband is taking me there in August!) but for giving the DATE you were there! I can't wait to go, now!
I was there at the beginning of June. We ran into Carlos Peña in the gift shop and my boys got pictures with him. He could not have been any nicer.
So cool!!!
I drove past there a week ago and it is one of the most beautiful areas of NY.

They have a Ray’s cowbell in there! That’s amazing. There’s so much epic stuff in there. Enjoyed seeing Brett’s cleats & that Clemente statue. Wow.
Bummed you had to fly back home early and miss this cool experience with Adam and Max!
It was cool seeing you on the shows with Adam and Max not annoying like Scott
Hey Tampa Jay♥️
Spoiler alert. I glanced down and this was right there. Top comment for me. Damn
Was suprised to see Brett’s shoes !
Getting to Cooperstown and seeing the Hall of Fame is my dream vacation. It's awesome that you shared your visit with us.
That lil village is just pristine. It's nice to see how well maintained they keep it. Great place for that museum, they have so many items it's amazing. Thanks for the ride again! Keep em coming!
Looked absolutely beautiful. The grass, corn fields, cows, blue skies and white clouds
