On this episode of the Mining Farm Tour Series, I am going to talk with Aqil Radjab, entrepreneur and Bitcoin Mining Farm owner. He actually started his own Bitcoin Mining Shed at his home and then expanded into a massive immersion mining farm here in Virginia with nearly 500 Bitcoin miners. He's using DCX's immersion liquid-cooled mining container setup. We'll talk about what got him into mining, some details of the build, what else Aqil does in his free time, and his thoughts on the upcoming Bitcoin halving.

Glad to see you getting some community advice. Love this immersion mining idea. 💡 Perhaps look into combining it with geothermal temperature control and see what you can save long term to cut the overhead down substantially more in the future. The more you use earths resources the less dependent you will be on the "grid systems" downsides.

That difficulty is caused by bitmain I think. All those s21 they are planning to sell after halving are already mining.

Fantastic interview but i think he sums up literally like for many other miners why he is into mining: For making money.
Literally reproducing everything we are currently doing wrong with FIAT. And i think at the end of day, it's why crypto adoption is failing, because crypto was specifically designed to replace FIAT, to be a serious alternative, in order to reshape financial power.

Can waste heat of this type be utilized to generate electricity?

TEG generators work at a laboratory scale
and the higher the delta T the better
here we have too low delta T to think about using them
but heat reuse is a great idea for many applications: home heating, pool heating, greenhouses, all the kinds of industry with hot water demand/use

You do have to find your way. Excellent video. I bought 20 helium miners. Then as you know it. It went way down. Now I'm looking to get into mining something else. 🤔

Drew I find financing is my biggest problem. I would love to expand but can't get the funding as of yet. Been turned down by SBA and the banks because it deals with crypto.

I know it's stupid (we had that problems too), but try to use a different name than "crypto"
data center - sounds much better in banker's ears than a crypto mining farm
GPU mining? wrong! - GPU-aided AI - sounds like a perfect opportunity to offer you financing

When you need so much help to keep it running, maybe the solution was not the best.
    What am I talking about?
Talking about running a BC mining farm with ZERO full time employees!
Even on air! (just need to avoid outside dust).
Tte extra complexities, variables and showstoppers of immerse cooling do require a person onsite (or somebody really good at automation!).
