      Hellenic Egypt was for sure the golden age of Egypt. The Greeks/Macedonians did great things in Egypt, and they respected the culture and the population
      Cleopatra was a descendant of Ptolemy, from his lineage

      If the gap of the 1st and 2nd child is 9-11 months same with the 2nd and 3rd it's possible to have 3 kids in 2 years if you start counting after the birth of the 1st child.. Just try to do a simple math of 24 month in 2 years and pregnancy is 9 months.. And just like I said start the count after the first child so it's possible..

    Cleopatra was a mix of Macedonians and Persians.

    • @laodice_III
      @laodice_III 4 года назад +16

      Cleopatra had 2 Persian ancestors, 1. The Persian princess Laodice III of Pontus, the daughter of the Persian King Mithridates II of Pontus. She was Cleopatra I Syra’s mother and a Seleucid Queen. Laodice III was Antiochus III the Great’s wife, the Seleucid Emperor and he was half Macedonian and half Persian. 2. Apama I, the Iranian wife of Seleucus I Nicator.
      Cleopatra’s Persian ancestors were Cyrus the Great and Darius the Great.
      Cleopatra I Syra, the Queen of Egypt was 2/3 Persian and 1/3 Macedonian, her mother (Laodice III) was Persian and her father (Antiochus III the Great) was half Persian and half Macedonian. All Ptolemies and Cleopatra after Cleopatra I Syra were descendants of her because the Ptolemaic dynasty practiced 300 years of incestuous marriages to remain pure. Cleopatra I Syra was Cleopatra’s ancestor from her both sides, her father and her mother.
      None of the Ptolemaic Kings ever learned the language of Egyptians except for Cleopatra. Cleopatra's ancestors separate themselves from the Egyptians. The Ptolemies’ culture and beliefs were Hellenistic, not Egyptian. Cleopatra learned the Egyptian language for political reasons. Plutarch wrote that she alone of her house took the trouble to learn Egyptian and, for political reasons, styled herself as the new Isis, a title that distinguished her from the earlier Ptolemaic queen Cleopatra III, who had also claimed to be the living embodiment of the goddess Isis. "

    1- Was Kleópatra VII's full name Kleópatra Thea Filopator ?
    2- Were she officially married to Marcus Antonius ?

    • @krishnagopalsrivastava2084
      @krishnagopalsrivastava2084 Год назад

      Yeah her name was that. The marriage thing is a bit tricky because it depends on whom who ask. In rome, marriage to foreigners was not allowed and neither was bigamy . Antony was a Roman and Cleopatra an Egyptian , moreover Antony was already married to Octavians sister Octavia. So they couldn't possibly be married by roman law, though most Roman poets and historians call Cleopatra Antony's wife or consort ,maybe because they lived like a married couple. In Egypt,marriage was allowed and basically she was the pharoah of Egypt so whatever she did was legal. Therefore many historians believe that they were officially married by Egyptian/Greek customs in around 36 BC. At any rate, they considered themselves a married couple because we have coins that show them as co-rulers and they presented themselves as Isis-Osiris (married Gods) . Cleopatra's called Antony husband ( atleast according to Plutarch) .

      Yes so Cleopatra was 21 when Julius Ceasar died and then she was Mark Anthony's love when she was 25-26 I believe. The years marked "BC" or "BCE" are counting down. So Cleopatra was born in 61 BC, meaning 61 years Before Christ.

      Not really dark either since her lineage mostly persists of people of greek/macedonian descent. I guess See U in History uses the best pictures he can find, not his fault that in historry she's pretty much always displayed like a snow white. If he was to use the few pics depicting her with a bit more mediterranean complexion, he'd have very few images to use.

      *MisS* *TriNiDaD* What an idiotic and misinformed thing to say. Do some research on her lineage before you blackwash the history of MY Greek Macedonian people, malaka. She had absolutely no amount of African in her, and there's no evidence to suggest that she did. Even the works of ancient historians describing her suggests that she is white/Caucasian.
      I'm sick of you racist black supremacists. Just as annoying as the fakers from Vardaska, as in you both try to claim everyone's history as your own. It's offensive, theft, and violates UN laws.
