I love Leighton Meester in comedies! I've only seen a few of her movies, none of her TV series, but I admire her philanthropic endeavors. She's doing more with her life than just making films. I look forward to "EXMAS".
The set up reminds me a lot of this Christmas movie from last year called Christmas With the Campbells. This does play out a bit differently though. I wasn't a big fan of that one, but I like Leighton Meester and this seems like a decent enough watch. I'll give it a chance.
It is a Christmas romance movie, you already know what beats it is going up hit, and how it will end. Trailers are really more about the actors chemistry in this genre.
For anyone thinking about watching WATCH IT it’s very funny and cute and simple but in the best way I don’t remember when was the last time that I enjoyed a Christmas movie this much (I think never )

In my family we don't just cut someone off from the friendships and supports we've given them. The only times that's happened is with the handful of people who ended up being abusive to someone else or family member. There are ones who just turn every few years and ones who are around regularly. They are family, even when they aren't blood. Have you never had someone who had more familial support and love from yours than they get from their own?
I can relate to this , I am actually staying with my ex fiance parents Because I have no place to stay right now. And I just moved back from out of state , Now we're all going to spend thanksgiving and christmas together including the ex
They even gave away the awkward moment in the movie! (Where she is too competitive with his mom). I don’t need to watch this movie. I think I could write an essay about this movie without even watching the whole thing.
Um, I just saw the entire movie - cut down into 2.49 minutes. I'm not sure who's in charge of trailers with this one - but you might want to look at your hiring practices...
I wanted to like it. I turned it off and then days later watched it from there. I think life is too short to watch movies that are on the verge of cringe. I really liked ally when she was on House, MD on season three. But for me to like or love a movie I have to like a majority of the characters. Something has to compensate. Obnoxious people are hard to embrace, I’ve seen this movie before. It’s basically a do over where there’s a breakup and the comedy of reconnecting. This movie just didn’t reach that level of “I have to watch more”. But reading the other comments I’m in the minority. I’m not sure I’m trying to talk anyone from watching it. Cute movie. They really tried. I know there are plenty of gay people out there and the entertainment industry is trying to normalize it but I’d prefer it was more organic. I don’t like people pushing an agenda in my face. Return to me is regarded as a good movie with great chemistry. Funny, tragedy built in, 2 likeable people who are relatable. I know it’s not all about me so I can’t expect all movies appealing. Anyway to make a long story longer, House MD and Person of Interest appeal. Person of interest got too convoluted in the last season so like rose let go of jack in titanic I had to let it go…
Leighton Meester and Robbie Amell are just so camera perfect I would love them to date in real life OMG, think about the cute babies they would have, OMG
The cast in this tele-movie was so bad that one must assume that they spent the entire budget on Meester and Amell. The premise was an ok idea ex's forced to share Christmas together. But the cast was distractingly bad this plus the horrible plot and script. Anyway if your looking for Christmas fair then look for a re-run somewhere 😂
