That Gather the Children variation was so scuffed lol can't even be apart for one second without being in psychosis. Glad to see u guys got thru it tho!
Thanks Ocean! Haha, our run could have ended here at Gather The Children. I had a brain fart and was about to get myself executed by Gooseberry at 57:40, thinking that I had the Jammer to revive myself, lol. We only survived because everyone carried their own weight when things went south. :) This is why I love co-op runs! I rarely get put into these kinds of out-of-control situations in my solo gameplays. :P
@Dashiawia yeah I guess in that variation it was probably best to eat the death from psychosis since yall can't be far apart anyways. What a crazy combo haha u weren't kidding when u were hyping it up :p
@@OceanKoLDSoL Yeah lol. Dying almost felt inevitable with those variators, ngl. The most dangerous part of this run had to be when 1 of us was dead and 2 others were incapacitated, and we were all in the light too. 💀 Just wait till you see our run in PTP with Stay Together + No Items in Trial + Limited Rig. That one was a total trainwreck and felt even more intense than GTCOG, lol.
After they buff the psychosis, it get really annoying. The tentacles is so unnecessary and the enemies can hit you now. I really hate when the bad trip variator show up
Yeah, true. They made psychosis a legit threat now after this update. Not only is full psychosis way more dangerous than before, but even a stage 2, partial psychosis is annoying to deal with as you have to constantly avoid those tentacles. In Escalation, Psychosis Damage + Bad Trip II is a nasty combo.
@@ch_avez_ Yeah. By the time I realized we had those variators, I already got into full psychosis! 🤣 At that point, my thought process was to avoid running around aimlessly even if I got into full psychosis. Going down is fine as long as someone on the team is alive.
@@Dashiawia agree, the hard part when you get psychosis is running from skinnerman chase all the way. Still okay if no stay together, but in this case you don't want to damage your teammates because of that running.

Great job :)
Thank you!
Stay together + Bad Trip II + Psychosis Damage = No damage allowed if you want still sane
Each of these variators is already annoying. Combine them is 3 times annoying 😂.

@@ch_avez_ Yep, exactly. The worst case scenario would be everyone running in a different direction after getting psychosis because then we'd all die.
