Still no real comparison. Of 1l fuel only like 20-30% of the energy goes to the wheels. Rest of it becomes heat within the engine, exhaust, friction, and thru drivetrain losses etc. Still, engine noise is nice

Why not water? Turbo guys on the cheap have used windshield sprayers and water to juice the intercooler for decades; you can use ethanol/methanol if you need more cooling. N^2O is too expensive for the cooling power.

@@jonahcottrell2879 Various Police Departments around the world are already getting BEV Patrol Cars. Asia has BYD Dual Motor 360kw (490hp) or Tesla Model S in US. You are screwed in Cities, no normal non BEV car can outrun them. Would need a modded hacked BEV with beefed up drive train.

I think you'd have to put a model 3 body on a different chassis. No transmission tunnel, no rigidity without battery...
Why not a Cummins 6bt Tesla?
@@tommihommi1 transmission tunnels can be built, rigidity can be added by bracing the weakest parts of the frame. The only thing preventing this from happening is that there isn't a mad lad like that to be found anywhere.

Funny. Internal combustion engines chase after efficiency of the engine itself while electric motors chase after efficiency of the battery or power source.
There also have been vast improvements in the efficiency of the motor itself, see the latest permanent magnet assisted synchronous inductance motors used in the model 3, the front of model S and X, and also used in some cars by EV West
Still no real comparison. Of 1l fuel only like 20-30% of the energy goes to the wheels. Rest of it becomes heat within the engine, exhaust, friction, and thru drivetrain losses etc. Still, engine noise is nice
hey man, internal combustion engines are doing the best they can thanks to anyone attempting to make them better getting killed(cough opec lobbyists cough cough). but continue to take the spotlight away from ice motors, they need time alone to evolve into their perfect form.
Personally i'm chasing for better motors, power, yeah, but any power is power (to be read battery density) considering the car ends up being lighter than a feather.

It may sound crazy, but why not use nitrous oxide for cooling? Just a straight spray of it evaporating on components can produce significant drops in temperature (and look cool doing it).
That could be cool but would probably have limited use.
Why not water? Turbo guys on the cheap have used windshield sprayers and water to juice the intercooler for decades; you can use ethanol/methanol if you need more cooling. N^2O is too expensive for the cooling power.
Nah Formula E uses Dry Ice. That seems like the future for BEV track cars. Super cool the power distribution parts.

Axel Mota I’m sorry, but as cool as that car is and all the engineering that went into it, it’s just plain boring to watch... 65% of the fun of watching drifting is the sound of engines smashing limiter and stuff. All it does is squeal tires. It sounds weird IMO
