Incredible. Just a few years ago who would have thought this possible? It just goes to show you what can be done with the right people in charge who love something so much they won't let it die. And #16 looks fantastic! It shines like a new penny! Thanks for being there and sharing the experience!
I'm so bummed I couldn't be there today! The weather turned out perfect if a bit chilly, but that makes a steam engine all the more enchanting. Nice footage!
I am a Mount Union native currently living in Camp Hill, PA. Was unable to attend these ceremonies and other special events. I gotta say thank you to all FEBT and EBT, Inc. team members who made this event happen. Although I did not attend, Thank You to the videograpers who did a spectacular job captuing these awesome scenes. I always say I was born about a decade too late to remember the locomotives during their history making journeys. Just listening to that powerful whistle echoing off the mountains and ridges made me a little emotional. i have it on my "To Do" list to attend a future EBT event. Again, thank you to all of the EBT team members for your hard work and dedication. Dave Grissinger, Camp Hill, PA (Mount Union native).
Extending the line back to Mount Union? Would LOVE to see it happen. Probably the largest logistical piece would be the engineering assessment and work required to restore the 2 arch Aughwick bridge just North of Shirleysburg.

Brings back memories of the Winter Runs forty years ago. Next stop, Mount Union? -- One can dream.

THIS is how a steam locomotive should sound and look like, breathing fire, smoke bellowing, and whistle screaming at full blast. Kudos to the EBT.
I fully agree. This is steam at its prime!
EBT STEAM IS BACK, BABY!
Nice footage especially the onboard shot was it flimed in the combine?
Thank you, it was filmed from the combine!
@@TrainznProgress nice in combine doors in baggage section?
@@trainmaster90productions It certainly is!
@@TrainznProgress that's interesting there must be room in baggage section to flim
@trainmaster90 productions Oh I just opened a window
The trackage looks so fresh. Open windows on the passenger cars, on a February day. Insanity!
