I frankly love having Aaron Gordon bring the ball up and initiate the offense -- it's just a little off-kilter in a good way that allows quick points sometimes. I think it sets Jamal up much better, still allows Jokic to set screens/call for the ball, and doesn't really stop AG from sliding to the dunker's spot anyway, assuming he didn't just get a quick layup off some mismatch.

I don’t want to make one guy the problem, but so many of the plays they talk about KAT is directly involved, especially related to poise. He’s the difference for me

Funny but Gobert in the line-up stifles the Timberwolves' offense, as seen in games 1,3, and 4. They outrebounded the Nuggets (42-31) but failed to capitalize. Transition baskets are the key. And the Timberwolves offense was sputtering the last two games, which is a growing concern. Getting Gobert off the bench (??) and getting Towns and Reid involved early, and winning the 1st Q should be high on the Wolves' list next game.

Wolves offense is regressing to their season average. Their first 6 games these playoffs they have a 126 off rating. That's gonna come down. If it doesn't, then they're gonna win the championship without losing a game lol

Nuggets vs Timberwolves: overreacting in defense, not enough paas and touch for other player in the first 2 quarter so players get out of sync in offense . And it´s influence their defense. Bad rotation and confusion on the switch in the pick and roll situation. KAT wasn´t comitted on the switch so he flares back a lot meaning open man for Nuggets. It was to much iso for the Wolves. Caoch has to fix that if they want a chance to win. Also nuggets put the ball in Gordon hands to avoid trap and fullcourt press. Edwards want to an offensive furie but he needs to involve earlier his teamates because he can score anytime. For a young star this is difficult finding the balance between am the man, the leader, putting the act where my mouth is and involves his teamates in the game.

Rick Carlisle didn't even have McConnell in the rotation earlier in the year which was a mistake and so was not having Nesmith guarding Brunson since game 1. Nembhard can't guard Brunson he was getting torched.

Denver didn’t particularly look great in the first round either. Wasn’t till G3 in Minnesota where they actually looked like Champions.
So if Denver completes their run to another championship, we’re gonna look back to this series, this moment as the spark. The media really woke up the beast. A lot of people say that it was the constant sweep predictions, but I think Jokic’s teammates must have felt a certain way when Shaq told him SGA should have been MVP. Just my thoughts.

This is probably one of the biggest upsets in the modern era of the NBA. On one hand, you have the Minnesota Timberwolves, led by the future Michael Jordan, being favored to sweep the Denver Nuggets. On the other hand, you have the Denver Nuggets winning two straight after losing the first two.
If the nuggets win, there is no other way to look at this as a huge upset!
