Xilonen feels like a “maybe on rerun” character for me. No doubt she’s good, but she’s not enough of an upgrade for the teams I play vs Kazuha. Already have Nahida so this is a “save for Mavuika” patch despite being pretty stacked.
I agree 100% with you. I'm in the same boat as you, and while Xilonen does have some great upsides, already having Kazuha and Nahida means I can feel pretty good about waiting for the pyro archon .
i guess some people focus more on their waifus with boobas instead of character utility and i usually hate kids but nahida isnt annoying and stupid and making me angry like most npc kids in quests and her design and attacks are cute so i want her

this is so funny as i'm also at 60 days into the game, so far farmed 50 wishes am currently at 65 pity and the luck going around is crazy coz I'm lucky enough that i got kazuha c1, freedom sworn, raiden and kinich(all 50/50 wins ). 19:58 Hu Tao at half health still means you have more health than most other characters in the game. And unlike most other characters, she has excellent survivability thanks to her burst healing. Beside, if you have Furina and use her with Hu Tao, you want a healer on your team anyway, so Hu Tao won’t be on low health.
I use Hu Tao with Furina, Xingqiu, and Charlotte. It doesn't really matter that Hu Tao is rarely at low HP with this team because the fanfare it generates for Furina more than makes up for the lost buff. Hu Tao's self HP drain and burst heal also contributes to the fanfare, making a double hydro "BlueTao" core extremely powerful in most situations. The healer slot is a bit more flexible. Use Charlotte for the occasional freeze, use Jean for the VV, or use Xianyun for both VV and plunge.
I run Tao Furina Xingqiu Xianyun and it's just so much easier to play than traditional Hu Tao teams. No more worries about survivability, the combos are much, much easier to execute, and you get more AoE! Highly recommend.
I used my standard Hu Tao, Yelan, Furina & Xianyun team to beat abyss 12 first half in under a minute on each chamber. I cleared the boss in the last chamber in about 30 seconds. I this is a pretty good test place currently, because there’s both multi target and single target fights.

As it happens, Nahida is among the top tier of characters you can get in the game's current meta, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. She can fit in a huge number of teams.
Get keqing tighnari by selector and losing 50/50 get fichle from shop and nahida you have f2p team and alll of these characters wants EM for good damage.
On Xilonen( and Kazuha): In terms of buffs she is almost identical to Kazuha, so who is sightly better comes down to their other qualities. Kazuha has grouping, which can have some insane value and mainly in some vape teams you can more easily buff both hyrdo and pyro. Xlionen has healing so you don't need another defensive option and longer buff uptime that also works in multi wave content. With Xilonen you always get the res shred for all elements in your team, but getting the Scroll set buff on multiple elements can be almost impossible, because of the global 1,5 s cool-down on crystallize, so she is best in teams where you don't gain that much from buffing multiple elements. Neuvilette is really the only character that wants both of them and Navia is probably the only character where Xilonen is an option and Kazuha isn't. Otherwise they can be used basically interchangeably. On Nahida: Dendro is a weird element in that you either are playing for the reactions or you aren't. There isn't really anything in between. And to get the most out of these reactions you also have to build your teams and play them in a specific way. While Nahida is probably the best dendro character, you don't always want to play her even in dendro reaction teams. And while Nahida has some utility in burn vape and burn melt you have other options for those teams. So in a weird way she is really limited in the types of teams she can be played in and if you don't play those types of teams she isn't really useful. In conclusion Nahida is a good character that works with many other characters, but is more limited than you might think.

Nahida is super fun! 1) She's strong 2) Her idle animation is god-tier (she's an archon after all :D ) 3) The ability to interact with her subjects in Sumeru in special ways is crazy 4) She's very cute :)
I pulled her last time she was on banner, but it's only been since Natlan where I've really learned how to use her and appreciate just how good she is. Fantastic character.
Same with me. With Nahida and Mualani, the rest of the team is Thoma and Kazuha. I'm just hoping that the eventual pyro archon can replace Thoma (and also Bennett).
Nahida was extremely account-changing for me. She's probably still the star of my roster, even if my Navia is built a little better. I always run around with her just because she's so easy to use, harvests resources with her ability, and is cute ofc.

Nahida is definitely a top pick. But I'd love to have a geo kazuha for my geo teams in abyss too. Same with nahidas weapon if the other one is great like staff of homa
I was already planning on wishing for Xilonen and Hu Tao so I’ll do that and if I somehow get both early I’ll probably try to get Hu Tao’s weapon. I managed to get both Raiden Shogun and Kinich 5 days before this banner is set to end as a F2P so I may be overestimating my luck but at least if I lose for Xilonen, Hu Tao is guaranteed and if I lose for Hu Tao I think I’ll have enough time to try again.
Great advice as always, Shark! (1) If you don't have Nahida and you want to do dendro teams, I'd say get her. Nahida is the "must pull" for dendro teams and unlocks so much for your account. My personal opinion is that is one of the 3 best characters in the game, along with Kazuha and Furina. If it were me: I would pull here and never look back. She's one of the most busted characters in the game. (2) Xilonen... I'm sure she is going to be great, but I'd wait until people test her out first. I don't personally love that Natlan characters focus so hard on movement/exploration or need Pholgiston (which is not in the Abyss or outside of Natlan). More to the point, I want to see her tested out first. She may be the "Kazuha" of Natlan, but only time will tell. (3) Hu Tao ... it depends on whether you need a pyro DPS. Arlecchino is arguably the better choice for a pyro DPS, but Hu Tao with vaporize or plunge teams is still really strong (admittedly no longer META). (4) Chiori is the waifu pick (meaning she's attractive but off-META). Easy skip unless you really like her. If you like her, she's best run with a second geo character who makes constructs like Ningguang, Zhongli, Albedo, or Itto. I don't think any of these characters are "bad", they're all quite strong in their own way. If you're a META-slave, then it's Nahida and Xilonen (probably), but you can make any of these characters work.
Still waiting for Zhongli and Wriothesley's reruns so hopefully 5.1 will be bountiful in terms of primogems. Xilonen does sound very OP, just not a fan of her design.
Hu Tao can give team crit rate. You probably should've mentioned this during her Support Capability section. Even it doesn't change her rating, that is still something she offers.
Nahida is right for you if you already have or you WILL save primos to get: An Electro on-field character *and* at least 1 good electro or hydro off-field character A Dendro on-field character (excluding Kinich) *and* at least 1 good electro off-field character A Hydro on-field character (excluding Tartaglia) *and* Kuki Shinobu or Raiden Shogun or Thoma Nilou *and* a hydro on or off-field dps *and* 1 other good hydro or dendro off-field character. Use Nahida as an on-fielder *and* a good hydro off-field character *and* Kuki Shinobu or Raiden Shogun or Thoma If you answered no to all of these questions, Nahida probably isn't for you. If you want a burning team, pick up Emilie instead on her rerun. Good electro off-field characters: Fischl, Yae Miko, or Kuki Shinobu Good hydro off-field characters: Xingqiu, Yelan, or (Kokomi/Sigewinne with Furina) Most of my teams listed only 3 team members. The fourth member should be anyone that does not interfere much with the reaction, such as an anemo unit for electro or hydro on-fielders, or any extra electro or dendro unit on any of the teams. Consider a shielder such as Zhongli, Diona, or Layla (don't use Layla's burst) and remember that you have Dendro Main Character if you need a 2nd off-field dendro unit.
As a C2 nahida user for a long time, I remember trying C2 for the frist time with Hyperbloom it went from 30k to 60k-80k hyperblooms, I was amazed how much damage increase it was and how comfortable it got for my hyperbloom team. I've also been testing her skill tkp damage with Sac-Frags with different builds and the current build I'm using consistently does around 34k tkp without nahida burst with burst it does around 50k with em buff from kuki without kuki Nahida skill does around 40k with burst, there are some builds that does more damage but I've concluded that the current build is consistent with the damage of nahidas E skill and comfortable in the overworld when exploring paired with Tighnari,Raiden and YaoYao/Kuki. I think for newer players I recommend getting nahida as other people say in the comments she opens up many teams and I have been using the hyperbloom team and it is also really easy to build for new players. And if you only go for constellations instead of new characters like me her C2 is really worth it but there no need to go for it sinces shes fine at C0. C2 nahida user for a long time going for C6 in her rerun, Good luck to all the players who are going to get Nahida!!!
Came here wanting to go for Nahida and the video confirms my choice - the little fairy belongs to the few characters I really want and is a perfect fit for my current team (~35 days in the game, so not much of a choice there). Considering my "luck" during the Kazuha banner, it should maybe take 20-30 prayers to make the pity system kick in. I would have given Xilonen a try after Nahida, but as the order is reversed I'll not be spending my painfully earned pity on Xilonen.
This is an insanely stacked patch. As a year-long C0 Hu Tao owner, I welcome the chance to finally get her C1 and her weapon. I might even get Nahida's weapon in the process. Nahida is known to be excellent, and Xilonen looks to be one of the game's best supports outside of a dendro team.
I AM nit 100% sold out on Xilone , yeah she looks awesome and everything , but personally i wanna go for NAHIDA , if my premos are left after raiden. MY current team is Zhong li , Kuki , Neuvi , Xiangling . ALL element reaction , overload , works very well for a long time with shield for Neuvi
i want xilonen and nahida an since i havent played for a year before version 5.0, i have a lot of exploration to do to get primogems but i probably will lose my pity since i got super lucky by getting mualani, kinich c1 and a new raiden constellation with only one keqing somewhere inbetween (268 event wishes in total since the beginning of september, thats crazy)
Already plan on getting Xilonen but I'll use the rest on Chiori because I need myself some geo units. Xilonen and Chiori does make themselves a great duo geo combo even if Chiori is at c0. After that, I save for Mauvika!
I'm very conflicted as a new player about the future viability of reaction based characters like nahida. Most characters from fontaine seemed to focus on hypercarries(e.g. navia, Arlecchino, Clorinde, Neuvillette...) I dunno. I love how much new stuff dendro brings to the table, but I really wanna know if four stars and Nahida have a very noticeable gap.
Reaction team based is still very strong and its not like Nahida does not work with "Hypercarries" as Nahida works well with Alhaitham, Neuvi, Clorinde, Cyno, and Keqing. As for four stars + Dendro Traveler vs Nahida, it depends. If you want Dendro application for Hyperbloom or Nilou Bloom,, aside from Dendro Traveler, the only one who come close to Nahida is Yao Yao. If you only need a little Dendro application for Aggravate Keqing or Clorinde, then Nahida is still a top option since she can give your driver/carry buffm (F2PKeqing did the dps calculation and Nahida came on top option).
I think there will be a bounce back to that to balance things out. At the time those characters were released there were not a ton of top tier hypercarry units. Fire archon will probably bring reactions to a new level.
As a 390 days old player, i can suggest you nahida is not on the meta anymore, now before anyone comes barking at me, i play nahida a lot (you can check out a clorinde team i posted on mh channel) BUT there are better, stronger teams or the new burn-burg dendro based teams in the trend (tho this dendro is not too strong either, as a kinich holder)
I've been maining Mualani and I've been weighing the pros and cons of replacing Kazuha for Xilonen. Right now I'm still probably gonna stick with Kazuha because his grouping is so valuable for Mualani so that she doesn't take too long getting 3 points before using her Sharky Bite. Granted, Xilonen offers other fantastic upsides too, but since I already have investment in Kazuha, I think I'll wait to see what the pyro archo looks like because I feel that will be the more important team member for Mualani. But I could be wrong too.
If you don't have Nahida... Nahida. If you don't have Kazuha, then Xilonen. If you do not have a top tier Pyro DPS, then Hu Tao. If you skipped Navia and Kachina, then Chiori. If you cashed out on your bitcoin and NFT's before the crash, then all the above.
As a Hu Tao Main I'm pulling for Homa since I dont know when it will come back, even if its very inefficient. If I get it early, I'll try to get Nahida
this is a really tough one for me. i want to have enough primos to get a mauvika and her weapon with a possible c1 so i can only realistically get one of these characters. i like xilonen more in terms of asthetic and i dont have a kazuha so she could really help me. on the other hand i have no good dendro units at all but i do have a zhongli to cover my geo needs.
As a 1 year old player who can 36 star abyss quite easily, i can suggest the new players that DONT pull for nahida or hutao drip (chiroi ? Not even worth to mention) go for c0 xilonen and try to pull c0r1 navia or c1 neuvi or c0r1 clorinde/arle/mualani. You'll feel the difference trust me. Note - when a cc says hutao is pretty strong, believe me i dont even wanna use her without her c1r1, its a HUGE diff with c1r1 which i play on my friends account. Nahida - i love her, i love dendro but i just cant seem to use nahids teams much in the abyss anymore (but hey, you can collect flowers at stupid places which is a win)
If you have none of them. Xilonen is the best investment at this time. she buffs/helps 5 elements. Nahida is second best investment but also a solid choice, buffs/helps 4 elements but also has good sub dps damage, but struggles with wave type content. Hu Tao has exactly one job and heavily relies on her BiS weapon effects to further enhance. She is very good at that job, but if you have any pyro dps like arlecchino there is no point. Chiori is nice and all, but is basically improved Albedo, does not help too much unless you have a second geo unit to make constructs. Ninguang, Zhongli, Itto, or Albedo are needed to capitalize on it.
Nahida is so broken. Her skill alone makes her impossible to ignore but her burst is also excellent. Being able to always have dendro applied to enemies feels unfair.
I spent all my primos to get Yelan and Kazuha and was planning on Nahida being my next pull…… Then I got captivated by Xilonen. She’s so pretty and looks really fun but I don’t need her and really can’t afford her. I need Nahida! I severely lack Dendro and big damage dealers. I’m up to my eyeballs in support characters but don’t have a great dps yet either. I’m still learning how to properly build characters and utilize reactions better too.
Hu Tao is a great dps character, but you need either a dedicated shielder or a combination of Furina and a party healer to make her shine. Yelan is one of her best teammates. As for Nahida, you really can't go wrong with her. She can work in just about any team.
I also got Kazuha, Yelan then suddenly got kinich. Now I'm torn between getting Nahida(my favorite), Xilonen (to boost my favorite Neuvillette ) & Mavuika(to boost my kinich team otherwise kinich feels like waste of primos for me)
As you learn you'll notice you don't really need a great dps (unless you like them), it's better to learn reactions and build supports, they're also easier to move around in teams compared to dps characters.
That is just an extra for when she needs to be off field. I've been playing her for more than a year and I didn't even remember she did this-people shouldn't pull for her for her support capabilities because she's a main DPS who wants the entire team to be built around what she needs
If you got Raiden out of it, its not really wasted... and if are still an early game player you can farm enough primo for Nahida which pairs amazingly with raiden...

I want shenhe and ganyu, when are they ever getting a rerun. Ive seen 4 or 5 characters getting 2 reruns and none for shenhe and ganyu. Mihoyo need to address this
Shenhe is the saddest story in my account. As my WaiFu One (first ever intentional 5* pull with c1 and Ayaka so she has a friend) I have almost nothing todo for her. In the rare cases I play freeze it turns out I prefer Kaeya over Ayaka and Layla over Shenhe ... Not for damage but for comfort. Really sad. I have to "invent" reasons to take WaiFu One out for a walk.
Should i pull for Xilonen? I dont got a team for her where she shines. I already got Nahida c0 and HuTao c2. I got 150 wishes and quaranteed. I want kokomi but she doesnt like to appear on a banner soon

I think current stats have Furina and to an extent Neuvillette as overall better than Nahida. I have all of them at c2 and don't ever use nahida

I use Nahihi in a burn-vape comp with Mualani.. Not only pyro aura remains much longer.. She gives 200 em to Mualani for biiig vapes

Nahida was extremely account-changing for me. She's probably still the star of my roster, even if my Navia is built a little better. I always run around with her just because she's so easy to use, harvests resources with her ability, and is cute ofc.
300 wishes saved for c1 HuTao and most likely Pyro Archon. Xylo maybe later.
Since I got kazuya recently I guess I'll skip xilonen, and pick a good main dps later on.

I was already planning on wishing for Xilonen and Hu Tao so I’ll do that and if I somehow get both early I’ll probably try to get Hu Tao’s weapon. I managed to get both Raiden Shogun and Kinich 5 days before this banner is set to end as a F2P so I may be overestimating my luck but at least if I lose for Xilonen, Hu Tao is guaranteed and if I lose for Hu Tao I think I’ll have enough time to try again.

(1) If you don't have Nahida and you want to do dendro teams, I'd say get her. Nahida is the "must pull" for dendro teams and unlocks so much for your account. My personal opinion is that is one of the 3 best characters in the game, along with Kazuha and Furina. If it were me: I would pull here and never look back. She's one of the most busted characters in the game.
(2) Xilonen... I'm sure she is going to be great, but I'd wait until people test her out first. I don't personally love that Natlan characters focus so hard on movement/exploration or need Pholgiston (which is not in the Abyss or outside of Natlan). More to the point, I want to see her tested out first. She may be the "Kazuha" of Natlan, but only time will tell.
(3) Hu Tao ... it depends on whether you need a pyro DPS. Arlecchino is arguably the better choice for a pyro DPS, but Hu Tao with vaporize or plunge teams is still really strong (admittedly no longer META).
(4) Chiori is the waifu pick (meaning she's attractive but off-META). Easy skip unless you really like her. If you like her, she's best run with a second geo character who makes constructs like Ningguang, Zhongli, Albedo, or Itto.
I don't think any of these characters are "bad", they're all quite strong in their own way. If you're a META-slave, then it's Nahida and Xilonen (probably), but you can make any of these characters work.
Still waiting for Zhongli and Wriothesley's reruns so hopefully 5.1 will be bountiful in terms of primogems. Xilonen does sound very OP, just not a fan of her design.
Hu Tao can give team crit rate. You probably should've mentioned this during her Support Capability section. Even it doesn't change her rating, that is still something she offers.
Nahida is right for you if you already have or you WILL save primos to get:
An Electro on-field character *and* at least 1 good electro or hydro off-field character
A Dendro on-field character (excluding Kinich) *and* at least 1 good electro off-field character
A Hydro on-field character (excluding Tartaglia) *and* Kuki Shinobu or Raiden Shogun or Thoma
Nilou *and* a hydro on or off-field dps *and* 1 other good hydro or dendro off-field character.
Use Nahida as an on-fielder *and* a good hydro off-field character *and* Kuki Shinobu or Raiden Shogun or Thoma
If you answered no to all of these questions, Nahida probably isn't for you.
If you want a burning team, pick up Emilie instead on her rerun.
Good electro off-field characters: Fischl, Yae Miko, or Kuki Shinobu
Good hydro off-field characters: Xingqiu, Yelan, or (Kokomi/Sigewinne with Furina)
Most of my teams listed only 3 team members. The fourth member should be anyone that does not interfere much with the reaction, such as an anemo unit for electro or hydro on-fielders, or any extra electro or dendro unit on any of the teams. Consider a shielder such as Zhongli, Diona, or Layla (don't use Layla's burst) and remember that you have Dendro Main Character if you need a 2nd off-field dendro unit.

Am pulling nahida she is my main priority
As a C2 nahida user for a long time, I remember trying C2 for the frist time with Hyperbloom it went from 30k to 60k-80k hyperblooms, I was amazed how much damage increase it was and how comfortable it got for my hyperbloom team.
I've also been testing her skill tkp damage with Sac-Frags with different builds and the current build I'm using consistently does around 34k tkp without nahida burst with burst it does around 50k with em buff from kuki without kuki Nahida skill does around 40k with burst, there are some builds that does more damage but I've concluded that the current build is consistent with the damage of nahidas E skill and comfortable in the overworld when exploring paired with Tighnari,Raiden and YaoYao/Kuki.
I think for newer players I recommend getting nahida as other people say in the comments she opens up many teams and I have been using the hyperbloom team and it is also really easy to build for new players. And if you only go for constellations instead of new characters like me her C2 is really worth it but there no need to go for it sinces shes fine at C0.

Came here wanting to go for Nahida and the video confirms my choice - the little fairy belongs to the few characters I really want and is a perfect fit for my current team (~35 days in the game, so not much of a choice there). Considering my "luck" during the Kazuha banner, it should maybe take 20-30 prayers to make the pity system kick in. I would have given Xilonen a try after Nahida, but as the order is reversed I'll not be spending my painfully earned pity on Xilonen.

This is an insanely stacked patch. As a year-long C0 Hu Tao owner, I welcome the chance to finally get her C1 and her weapon. I might even get Nahida's weapon in the process. Nahida is known to be excellent, and Xilonen looks to be one of the game's best supports outside of a dendro team.
I AM nit 100% sold out on Xilone , yeah she looks awesome and everything , but personally i wanna go for NAHIDA , if my premos are left after raiden. MY current team is Zhong li , Kuki , Neuvi , Xiangling . ALL element reaction , overload , works very well for a long time with shield for Neuvi

i want xilonen and nahida an since i havent played for a year before version 5.0, i have a lot of exploration to do to get primogems but i probably will lose my pity since i got super lucky by getting mualani, kinich c1 and a new raiden constellation with only one keqing somewhere inbetween (268 event wishes in total since the beginning of september, thats crazy)

Already plan on getting Xilonen but I'll use the rest on Chiori because I need myself some geo units. Xilonen and Chiori does make themselves a great duo geo combo even if Chiori is at c0. After that, I save for Mauvika!
I'm very conflicted as a new player about the future viability of reaction based characters like nahida. Most characters from fontaine seemed to focus on hypercarries(e.g. navia, Arlecchino, Clorinde, Neuvillette...) I dunno. I love how much new stuff dendro brings to the table, but I really wanna know if four stars and Nahida have a very noticeable gap.
Reaction team based is still very strong and its not like Nahida does not work with "Hypercarries" as Nahida works well with Alhaitham, Neuvi, Clorinde, Cyno, and Keqing.
As for four stars + Dendro Traveler vs Nahida, it depends. If you want Dendro application for Hyperbloom or Nilou Bloom,, aside from Dendro Traveler, the only one who come close to Nahida is Yao Yao.
If you only need a little Dendro application for Aggravate Keqing or Clorinde, then Nahida is still a top option since she can give your driver/carry buffm (F2PKeqing did the dps calculation and Nahida came on top option).
I think there will be a bounce back to that to balance things out. At the time those characters were released there were not a ton of top tier hypercarry units. Fire archon will probably bring reactions to a new level.

Nahida is THE dendro character.
Personally I don't like her very much but I will certainly admit she brings everything dendro to the next level.
As a 390 days old player, i can suggest you nahida is not on the meta anymore, now before anyone comes barking at me, i play nahida a lot (you can check out a clorinde team i posted on mh channel)
BUT there are better, stronger teams or the new burn-burg dendro based teams in the trend (tho this dendro is not too strong either, as a kinich holder)
If in 5.1 nahida wasn't reruning I would have pull her😊
I've been maining Mualani and I've been weighing the pros and cons of replacing Kazuha for Xilonen.
Right now I'm still probably gonna stick with Kazuha because his grouping is so valuable for Mualani so that she doesn't take too long getting 3 points before using her Sharky Bite.
Granted, Xilonen offers other fantastic upsides too, but since I already have investment in Kazuha, I think I'll wait to see what the pyro archo looks like because I feel that will be the more important team member for Mualani.
But I could be wrong too.
Pulling for Xilonen because of her versatility and Hu Tao because I like her as a character.

this is a really tough one for me. i want to have enough primos to get a mauvika and her weapon with a possible c1 so i can only realistically get one of these characters. i like xilonen more in terms of asthetic and i dont have a kazuha so she could really help me. on the other hand i have no good dendro units at all but i do have a zhongli to cover my geo needs.
As a 1 year old player who can 36 star abyss quite easily, i can suggest the new players that DONT pull for nahida or hutao drip (chiroi ? Not even worth to mention) go for c0 xilonen and try to pull c0r1 navia or c1 neuvi or c0r1 clorinde/arle/mualani. You'll feel the difference trust me.
Note - when a cc says hutao is pretty strong, believe me i dont even wanna use her without her c1r1, its a HUGE diff with c1r1 which i play on my friends account.
Nahida - i love her, i love dendro but i just cant seem to use nahids teams much in the abyss anymore (but hey, you can collect flowers at stupid places which is a win)

Xilonen is the best investment at this time. she buffs/helps 5 elements.
Nahida is second best investment but also a solid choice, buffs/helps 4 elements but also has good sub dps damage, but struggles with wave type content.
Hu Tao has exactly one job and heavily relies on her BiS weapon effects to further enhance. She is very good at that job, but if you have any pyro dps like arlecchino there is no point.
Chiori is nice and all, but is basically improved Albedo, does not help too much unless you have a second geo unit to make constructs. Ninguang, Zhongli, Itto, or Albedo are needed to capitalize on it.
Depending on the 4 stars in question *cough* *cough* kuki shinobu *cough* I'll pull for Nahida or Xilonen, only if Shinobu is either on of the phases

Nahida is so broken. Her skill alone makes her impossible to ignore but her burst is also excellent. Being able to always have dendro applied to enemies feels unfair.

I spent all my primos to get Yelan and Kazuha and was planning on Nahida being my next pull……
Then I got captivated by Xilonen. She’s so pretty and looks really fun but I don’t need her and really can’t afford her.
I need Nahida! I severely lack Dendro and big damage dealers. I’m up to my eyeballs in support characters but don’t have a great dps yet either.
I’m still learning how to properly build characters and utilize reactions better too.
Hu Tao is a great dps character, but you need either a dedicated shielder or a combination of Furina and a party healer to make her shine. Yelan is one of her best teammates. As for Nahida, you really can't go wrong with her. She can work in just about any team.
I also got Kazuha, Yelan then suddenly got kinich. Now I'm torn between getting Nahida(my favorite), Xilonen (to boost my favorite Neuvillette ) & Mavuika(to boost my kinich team otherwise kinich feels like waste of primos for me)
As you learn you'll notice you don't really need a great dps (unless you like them), it's better to learn reactions and build supports, they're also easier to move around in teams compared to dps characters.
I think you forgot about it but Hu Tao has some support capabilities... When she is not on field her passive gives crit rate to all teammates
That is just an extra for when she needs to be off field. I've been playing her for more than a year and I didn't even remember she did this-people shouldn't pull for her for her support capabilities because she's a main DPS who wants the entire team to be built around what she needs

If you got Raiden out of it, its not really wasted... and if are still an early game player you can farm enough primo for Nahida which pairs amazingly with raiden...

Shenhe is the saddest story in my account. As my WaiFu One (first ever intentional 5* pull with c1 and Ayaka so she has a friend) I have almost nothing todo for her.
In the rare cases I play freeze it turns out I prefer Kaeya over Ayaka and Layla over Shenhe ... Not for damage but for comfort.
Really sad. I have to "invent" reasons to take WaiFu One out for a walk.
