Chain Beater on the Verzasca (Entry #20 Carnage for All 2020)

Hilarious chain beater with most paddlers of a group getting stuck, one after another, in a sticky pocket eddy at the reception of a drop on the Verzasca in Ticino (Switzerland). Shot during a paddling trip across France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria during the summer. 3 weeks of friends, sends and stubbies!

After significant analysis I have determined the correct move is to eddy out on river left above the drop, and then jet ferry across the current to run the second drop on the right side.
