Was looking at these StoneX bars and your video popped up. That's an absolutely gorgeous bar and the fact that it has a face value makes it even more desirable. Thanks for sharing ISStacker! Cheers 😊👍🏻

I always enjoy your videos, but I especially enjoy your videos on old Irish currency and coins and the Irish perspective of silver stacking. Looking forward to your next video..... 👍

Sweet Jeebus, 😎😎 it's not shiny enough!!! 😎😎😎😎 Very smart buying the kg bars. Lower premium and a considerable store of wealth.

looks great but as you say my concern is also the resale of such a bricky chunk of silver

Yeah the only reason I went ahead with it was the good price and the premiums are insane nowadays. I’d say it will be hard to sell

5:11 new sub. I am thinking about ordering a gold coin from Stonex. Had you any issues with them?

Not sure but I understand that when selling a kilo or more of silver ,in the states, it must be reported to the IRS for tax purposes. I do like the kilos but avoid buying them.

    • @Irishsilverstack

I think that’s the same in the states from any bullion with out a face value. Also after dealers buy it they have to keep it for 18day before selling.

That's not true. Simply selling your silver bars doesn’t automatically create a tax liability. You’ll only need to pay taxes if you make a profit from what you sell. This is referred to as a capital gain. On a side note, 100-ounce silver bars aren’t reportable regardless of the quantity.

My StoneX 1kg silver bar developed an intense black tarnish in some spots (like the face of the queen lol) despite being factory sealed. So disappointing :( Would you recommend bathing it in soda and aluminum?

Hey sorry for the late reply, thats a-shame I’ve not issues with my one but I’ve not seen it in awhile. I wouldnt , but you could at the end of the day it going to be bought for the silver. However it might develop toning over time and become more valuable to some over time

I think so, but it wouldn't be worth it as you would have to pay shipping, import duty and taxes
