Lowell, Here I am about to let you know how much I have enjoyed watching you paint these gloriously vibrant poppies and I look below and see I watched this video seven months ago and left a comment. I loved it every bit as much as I did last time, maybe even more. I was following along with your tutorial so intensely watching everything you were doing that it did not occur to me I had been here before. I wouldn't be surprised to find that I am back some time in the near future to watch this lesson again. Such a gorgeous painting and a joy to watch you work your magic. Thank you for keeping your lessons posted. One day I hope to come ready with the paint supplies so I can try to actually follow and paint. That will be great fun!

I love, love, love to paint. I paint amazing tiki's that surround 6 ponds in my neighborhood, including mine. I want to paint poppies. I can't even do the initial sketch or can see what the poppies would look like.

I met Bill Alexander when he was at our local shopping center which was just opened up. I tried to learn from his paintings and try to copy because they look so easy. It was anything but easy. I still have most of them and I call it my gallery in the hallway.
