Saw them 2x on this tour and never thought I’d see a better show. Then I saw them just before fear inoculum, even better! Now I’m just wait for them to be anywhere close to me again. Best band ever! It will be my 6th tool show, and still no band comes close to the experience of a tool show.
Seen Tool 28 times. Saw them at the first Lollapalooza ever in Waterloo Village New Jersey when they weren't even announced on the ticket. From there it was Hammerstein Ballroom in NY, Fox Theater in Detroit and then to Pittsburgh. All and each of those shows cost $66.66 and each venue sat about 2,500 or less. Now tickets cost a small mortgage and the venues seat 16,000 plus. AND I DON'T FUCKING CARE. MY PEOPLE, HEAR ME OUT. YOU ARE ALIVE AND HAVE HEARD OR SEEN ONE OF THE BEST BANDS......EVER IN THE WORLD OF MUSIC. Think about that shit. Seriously. You are alive when TOOL is alive.
''Flood'' has always been one of their best songs on the first record and it has a very Alice in Chains influence in the introductive part, and then it develops in a sort of prog-rock heavy metal theme. In this concert they have started to develop the Carey/Chancellor rhytm war machine more than before. I mean, in Lateralus there was a lot of Justin leading on the sound and the riffs, but here the rhytm section is more defined, more noisy, more intense than ever. I love this version of Tool. Been addicted on the first periods, on the first year since i have discovered them, so this is an absolute surprise to understand their evolution. The thing i can perceive is a very disilllusioned Maynard, very quiet and concentrated on his singing. Suppose this was the 10,000 DAYS tour, isn't it? So it was a deep spiritual searching period for him. This album is much more heavier than the others in some ways.
The whole "Rock and Seine" festival was shot and broadcast on Arte (french german channel), but none of Tool was part of the program. Fortunately, some people like you still have common sense ans share moments like these. Thank you so much !

I feel sorry for you.... First you have to wait for them to show up to your area....then you pay how much for tickets????? THEN......they show up and ONLY play EIGHT songs...wow There are bands out there like Pearl Jam who play for almost 3 hours Why cant they play for 2 or more hours? They are still my fav band.,,,,,but that is BULLSHIT
Toolmybass I feel sorry for if you think 30 euros is too much for a band like Tool... Music is not a national sport , 45min , 1h, or 5h whatever. If you can't capture the magic of this band in 1 hour this is maybe because you're not a huge hardcore fan.

Seriously. You are alive when TOOL is alive.
lol
How come u dont have more 👍👍
Good pair of headphones and your there.
I was there, it was a really good day, thanks for uploading this
Listening to tool feels like you are in outer space 😌 they are the best
you should try medicine.
another mind blowing eargazm .... thank you!
That prolonged interlude in Lateralus is the most amazing thing in music history ever.
indeed....blew me away....i thought i was floating out in space somewhere
Thank you for this. Four amazing musicians perfectly in sync. Saw them in San Francisco on this tour.
Oh shit, MJK was wearing a Puscifer jacket. That's so cool.
This is how all concerts should be!! Just the genius of there jams 🎸
This Rosetta Stoned performance is fuckin perfect.
And the way Maynard ends it, like a boss
I love his screams in that one. Its rare these days
Rosetta stoned from Min 38:49 blow my mind away!
The squeaky 'holy fucking shit' made me giggle a little.
He is a boss
With all due respect to all bands here, now, then, future. You will never come close!!
I was there but I'm not tall and couldn't see anything among the crowd. Good to finally put pictures to the memory.
I know that sucks when ur not tall enough to see ,sadly I've only been to 4 concerts one was in council bluffs is I left at the beginning cuz my hubby was sick just after leaving lightning struck the stage n the whole thing was cancled my son was there he was bummed that was not this band tho there was a bunch of good ones ;heres a funny one I went to a Ted Nugent's concert ,yes I'm old when the door opened I got squeezed n pushed through all the way inside my feet weren't touching the ground later I realized I never even gave them my ticket it was the only thing I remember except my sisters boyfriend with a long ass coat he opened it up n had lines of pockets of just bout any drug u desired n different ways to have pot I just was 😁😲 hes dead now was always drunk an indian named claudia blackbird well it seems that was 11-7-75 dang I was 10 yrs old no wonder I was short lol back then Ted Nugent was the best
man they were so on par like they wanted to bring their absolute best..how beautiful..thank you so much tool archive
That Rosetta Stoned was fucking incredible.
Felt like i was in outer space
Wanna wish it all away
No prize that could hold sway
Or justify my giving away my center
So if I could I'd wish it all away
If I thought tomorrow would take you away
You, my peace of mind, my all, my center
Just trying to hold on one more day
Damn my eyes if they should compromise the fulcrum
Wants and needs divide me then I might as well be gone
1:01:53 that slight variation done by Adam in the solo is awesome!
I think that was a mistake and he recovered exceptionally well
I love your video so much! Zooming in and out at all the right times! Thank you!
Its so refreshing to hear a band that doesn't butcher the living hell out of their own music when they go live.
Yea and Rammstein too
I can listen this concert all my life
I was there !
I was there too ! :)
There no words to discrib this ... After 2 concert of Tool my life change for ever ;)
I feel sorry for you....
First you have to wait for them to show up to your area....then you pay how much for tickets?????
THEN......they show up and ONLY play EIGHT songs...wow
There are bands out there like Pearl Jam who play for almost 3 hours
Why cant they play for 2 or more hours?
They are still my fav band.,,,,,but that is BULLSHIT
Toolmybass I feel sorry for if you think 30 euros is too much for a band like Tool... Music is not a national sport , 45min , 1h, or 5h whatever. If you can't capture the magic of this band in 1 hour this is maybe because you're not a huge hardcore fan.
Doesn't matter, saw Tool.
If you're reading this in 2021, please #SpiralOut
Greatest band ever
.
it's cool when you can be sitting here almost 30 years later, listening to this in the background, and still get the chills on the transition to the spiral.
Greatest band of all time,,,,, explosive...
GOD DAMN RIGHT
Thank you for posting this, you and this band are the best!!!
Miss when Keenan used to look like Nightcrawler of X-men
but Adam never changes a bit and his loyal to his sexy Lady
the Silverburst Lady

Almost broke down into tears, wow. I can't believe that's how they long they waited to use this part in the newest record.
edit: This isn't on Fear Inoculum. LMAO NEXT ALBUM THEN!
Wait, for which song?
@@miru021 The newest Tool song "Fear Inoculum"
I can't belive
Next tool album will be in 2050
Adam is a beast with that synth.
Goddammit. How could a 20 year old song be heard over 100,000 times still be so amazing.
I love how during Danny's drum solo at 1:02:40 Maynard just stands there swaying and watching like he's at a Danny Carey concert.
Even Adam
Has anyone here ever watched a tool concert on psychadelics and seen how much deeper their genius goes?
That extra part in Schism is so good!
Giannis AntetoGOATmpo also in stink fist as well
Maynard: "What in disposition"
BRB GOTTA GO MAKE A MEME
The Unwanted Scrub Link please.
Girzz what is funny about this meme? Does anyone else know what i mean? I barely chuckled at the original, but this shit is considered funny nowadays?
there are a rare few examples of this meme that are pretty witty, so i think they kinda fuel most of people's hype about it. it's usually a meme best used as a closer to something else, so i would agree that just saying the meme on its own is pretty stale. i like my memes F R E S H
Girzz time stamp???
Tool Archive i am so happy you're back!!! xoxox
Possibly my biggest regret in life is only seeing them live 14 times.
I feel you. You can never see them enough. I'm hoping this covid nonsense ends soon so they can restart their tour. The Fear tour was so incredible and EPIC.
@@rubaidaallen2764 Yeah I saw four shows of that tour last year the first one starting on Halloween in Milwaukee. I could’ve easily went to the Indianapolis and Cincinnati shows but I figured I had more time....And then I missed out on the two shows in Illinois and Wisconsin this past June..
This year was supposed to be my 4th Tool show 😭
@@scottgooding9935
Crying over here too. I had VIP tix for a second show and covid happened. Horrible. Hoping for a better 2021-22 🤘🤘
@@rubaidaallen2764 the worst is I even contemplated buying tickets for Spokane so I could see the show twice (it was the next closest location to me), but I decided against it. Spokane was one of the few shows that actually happened before the rest of the tour was called off. 😭😭
