There is a news article that perfectly sums up the ethics of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. People who want to educate themselves should google the terms "Medical device critics prevail in clash with renowned hospital" and "Amy Reed and Hooman Noorchash". The wife of this couple was treated at an institution that shares security with Dana Farber and is part of the same parent organization. After publicly questioning the ethics of the institution, the couple had to sue to stop security tactics that violated their basic rights and that a Massachusetts judge determined were meant to intimidate.

In my experience, physicians at Dana Farber Cancer Institute care about only themselves. They are out for prestige and money. They have no ethical bounds, and will stop at nothing to get what they want. I suggest potential employees, donors and patients read up on the story of Amy Reed and Hooman Noorchashm. One party of this couple was treated at Brigham and Women's Hospital, which is part of the same parent organization as Dana Farber and shares a security force. A Massachusetts judge ruled that Brigham and Women's Hospital was using security tactics that violated the basic rights of this couple in order to intimidate them. It seems this institution will declare anyone a security risk in order to violate them, take away their rights, control and abuse them. What utterly disgusting behavior for a hospital.
