Yeah, it's been a while (again). I've been awfully busy, but I hope this will compensate for lost time.
I never would've thought I would make another Dante video, but I wanted to get back into the groove again. so what better way than to do a video with someone you're 'good' with right?
This video is to show some high damaging combos with Dante, but mostly has X-Factor combos at level 1 (starting at Nova 02:10) and level 2 (starting at Hulk 03:40). This vid's to show what our favorite Demon Slayer can do while in X-Factor. I would recommend not giving Dante the X-Factor 'cause we all know Dante wastes precious X-Factor time. But if you have him as anchor, use his Devil Trigger! And maybe some of these combos. ;)

Thanks. Landing all the shots help a lot. I seem to notice the higher someone is, the easier to hit sky dance knockdown.

What I really like about your Dante combos is that you use moves used less in Dante's commercial arsenal like Drive & Twister > Tempest.

Thanks, dude. I've been working on the gun loop for the past couple days in order to be able to do more of these combos and maybe come up with some of my own. I actually made a mistake on the team order. Wesker is the one on point. I want to build meter for Dante so he can actually kill some characters. Haha.

nice vid, question: what's the logic behind creating combos in this game? how are you able to keep knocking them down and picking them back up without the hit decay? like they don't recover until you want the combo to end? thanks
I used to think dante combo videos were the sickest thing I have ever seen, that was when I wasn't a Dante player. He actually wasn't as hard to learn at this level as I thought.
Hold Forward after stinger
While holding forward quickly press L+M
After pressing L+M, Almost simoltanesouly make the DP movement and Press M.
That's how I learned it anyways, hope it helps.

I notice the window to air dash into j.H and Volcano+Beehive from The Hammer at 0:36 is very small. Any tips or suggestions?

I'm working on the Dante/Wesker/Akuma team right now, and really want it to be a rushdown, style combo play-style I use. Would you say these combos are good execution training?

I'm gonna watch more of your vids so my motivation outweighs the discouragement from my failed training attempts lol. I don't know why but I can't seem to figure out how to continue a combo after I do that one move where Dante slams down. I do the Bold Cancel thing and then I can hit with 2 light attacks at most. I can't do anything else tho =\ I guess it just takes tons of time

Holy shit u r amazing *_* what kind of stick do u use? ( i doubt u use pad) i play on a fight pad, ( madcatz) and im thinking to switch to a stick :)
any tips regarding firedance? it has 2 diff knockdowns based on the last hit but i cant seem to do it consistently
I just noticed something.So as long as Sky Dance doesn't do the forced hard knockdown,it'll reset ANY ground bounce?It isn't just limited to the move Beehive? 5:44 is where I saw that Revolver still did its ground bounce when you clearly already did a ground bounce at 5:38.

Usually there is a display setting to change it to "GAME" Removes any input lag immediately.
I assume that was X-Factor lvl 3 after that Tempest at around 4:46?I didn't know Tempest had any follow-ups.
How do you consistently link rain dance into volcano? I can sometimes do the link and sometimes I cannot.
Btw ive been wondering, how did you pull of 4 at 5:17. I could only pull off 3 max

when i bold cancel a stinger teleport i can never hit the sky dance hard knockdown for some reason. they always just fly away. if there is a specific way of doing it i would love to know :) thanks
Any tips on better ways to fully confirm a stinger after clay pigeon loops? Or at least a better way to look at it to know when the best time is to stinger
The way that I look at it, the time that I'll need to use Stinger after Clay Pigeon mainly depends on where the bullets hit the opponent. For example: if the bullets hit the opponents stomach, it'll take them the longest time to fall, so I usually go for another gun loop, though Stinger lvl 2 is still very possible and is the most lenient to time at this point. If it hits their feet (like G. Rider at 0:30), another special is possible, and Stinger should be timed at the mid-point of these 3 confirms. If it hits their back, getting another special is a dream without X-Factor, and Stinger should be used more quickly.
The times change, depending on where you are as well (ex, hitting the opponent in the back with all 10 Clay Pigeons near a wall will leave you to hit Stinger as soon as possible), so there're a lot of variables (like the timing also changing depending on how many Clay Pigeons hit). This is probably better explained in a tutorial, but it's best to keep practicing until you can eventually "feel" the timing.
Hey I finally know to do that shooting in the air I did three thanks to you , so when I do the bold shooting thing I connect the stinger then press L+S to jump in the air an either do the hammer or the flame wheel right?
Yeah. If you're midscreen, you have to Bold Cancel his teleport then do Hammer.
And yup, X-Factor made it faster.

usually the opponent needs to be above you to make the skydance bounce them. if you're level with them im pretty sure the last hit will connect and will blow them back
I have dealt with the same problem but fixed it but changing the TV settings. Check to see if your TV has various modes and try each one until it feels lag free.
