  • BGI Australia and Decode Science hosted a Spatial Genomics Workshop at Lorne Genome Conference featuring the BGI STomics Technology, a proprietary advanced spatially-resolved transcriptomic analysis technology that brings researchers a revolutionary tool to explore spatial biology with unprecedented field-of-view and resolution. The workshop presented the discoveries that early access customers in Australia have made using this technology. The workshop was chaired by Dr. Jiyoti Verma from Decode Science, and three speakers Dr. Xiaohuan Sun from BGI Life Sciences Research Institute (BGI Research), Dr. Dane Vassiliadis from Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and Dr. Ankur Sharma from Harry Perkins Institute shared their knowledge of spatial omics and their exciting research using STOmics in the workshop.
