  • This time, we will run thermoelectric module using water cooling and thermoelectric module using air cooling simultaneously in the same environment to compare each cooling performance and see what other advantages and disadvantages are there.

Thank you so much for how through you were, I'm having trouble with the same exact experiment and it helps me to compare slight system differences and outside environmental variables. :) keep posting on any project

    Good job.
The result is obvious knowing water has a way bigger thermic energy capacity.

Try this. Chill water in an aluminum tank with a couple of peltiers. Pump chilled water through an evaporator. Blow air across the evaporator with a fan and make chilled air. You'll have a 12v air chiller, mini A/C.

Good idea but using aluminum water in air cooler can be toxic for health. It may lead to too much aluminum toxicity in the person inhaling.
An alternative would be to keep a fully sealed Stainless steel box inside a air cooler water cavity, and pump the cool water inside that box through water pumping attached onto the water block fixed to the peltier coolside, and let the SS box cool down rest of the water inside the air cooler

I hope that you don't mind. This is my opinion. The experiment that you did is in favour of the water cooling because:
    1. It has more surface area on the radiator.
    2. It has two fans.

The hot side radiator in the air cooling system is poorly chosen because it has too few fins compared to the water cooling system. Moreover, the water cooling radiator itself is larger and has two fans, so the modules are cooled more effectively.

And also total electrical energy consumed?

Hi, I'm trying to do the opposite, load a cooler with ice and use it to cool off the air in a camping tent, but still with a water pump and and a radiator. I found some other videos, but none have found a way to put a radiator inside of a duct line going from a fan through a cooler...

Water cooling doesn't actually exist. Water doesn't cool something it only transports heat.

  • @Be_ashutosh

this test is unfair. the radiator of liwuid cooling vs the radiator of air cooling is just not comparable. use a cpu air cooler to compare between air cooled or liquid cooled.
