In the Cassie suit, she recounts him basically concocting this whole show for her to perform at, with the usual marketing w public flyers and all that good shit. Turns out, the show was fake. He hired everyone. He paid to rent out the venue, paid staff, paid for marketing, paid for an audience. It’s fucking insane. I can’t imagine how fucking *jarring* that was for Cassie. All to intimidate her into submission (dv relationships hinge on a power imbalance in favor of the abuser).
Like I wouldn’t be afraid of *him* personally cuz he’s a fuckin goofball, but I’d be scared of what he could do, should he set his sights on me. 😬

If someone was hoarding all of the hammers in the world, we’d all take them cuz wtf, and tell that person they need therapy. I’ve come to believe that being “rich” should be disdained, because it seems as though it, or just capitalism itself, separates us from our empathy and humanity.

I'd actually argue that if Caitlin Clark was black she would have significantly less support because taking a look at A'ja Wilson and Angel Reese and how they are received is still smaller and also more negative than CC. Clark has a majority sports related fanbase many that love CC internationally see Reese an enemy and use racist terms to refer to her in contrast to Clark.
