I love how with LostAlone it's not about "How old are you?" "Do you have girlfriends?" "Oh my god he just smiled there so cuuute" but it's about the importand things. The way you talk about music, Steven, about writing and playing...it's so accurate, so moving. I hope to hell and back that what you're saying is true for you and that your passion for it never changes.
I love listening to what Steven has to say; it's so beautiful and inspirational! He is just this musical genius who has music coming out of his ears haha! The lyrics mean so much to me and I think Steven works so hard to write so MANY great ones, unlike extremely mainstream artists that just sing about getting wasted and going to clubs... Anywho, I'm always supporting Steven and his brilliant mind and the amazing LOSTALONE!!
Have to admit, Steven Battelle REALLY does influence me and my life A LOT! He's the reason for my love and appreciation for music, especially LostAlone :)
I love Steven Batelle he is such a legend! how did he not cry talking about music like that haha if that was me id be so emotional coz I feel the same passion for music but when I talk about it enough I get so emotional lol... this interview makes me emotional ^^
What he said about MCR was kind of interesting, when he was saying he felt an instant connection between them and his band. Helena was the very first MCR I ever heard, and when when I did, before they even got to the chorus I felt that very same connection almost immediately. And by the time I finished listening to the album, it was like...I don't know, but it triggered something inside me. It was instantaneous. This guy seems very genuine and passionate about what he does, and I love that.
Excellent interview Brigitte, as usual. & especially considering you didn't really know much about the band before. Very inspiring :) It's Kathleen by the way :)
@cheerwine31 Why the hell would you click on an interview if you don't like the interview or the person she's interviewing? To share your negative opinion? Nice one... Brigitte's interviews are not like most interviews - she actually has conversations with the people, picks up on what they have said and listens to them. If you wanna go watch another boring interview about what bands miss most when they're touring, or what their favourite food is, there are plenty of them on RUclips. Just saying

Best interview ever. Steven is just someone from other planet with a rescue mission for this world! Thank you
He's just... captivating, a true artist! He'll go far

That's the most important quality a musician can have, in my opinion. Kudos, Briggitte. Amazing interview, as always. :)

Is that MCR music in the background?
This interview is great(like always(:) but I must admit, when I saw lost alone with mcr in birmingham, lostalone weren't to great.....(:
