"wow,,,,these pix are great.....yo se que el BX es la Mecca de la musica del Caribe..but wow,,,after reading the captions on these photos I realized the Boogie down Bronx is where a lot of these musicians lived and jammed.....and to think that I was a teen during those years living in the BX when this was happening and not aware of these cultural icons right under my nose...man....lo que me perdi....i tanto que gozo esa musica haora que estoy viejo...Me siento muy orgulloso de ser LATINO(PR)"Que viva el pueblo Latino,,,,,,somos muchos".

Perdon, tan sólo una pregunta: hay al menos tres fotos en las que aparece el pianista (extraordinario a mi modesto entender, y al de mucha otra gente) Jorge Dalto, quien fuera compañero de Patato en el LP Jazz Ensemble y factotum de su disco Masterpiece, además de haber tocado con Tito Puente, G. Benson y muchos artistas más.Dicho esto: por qué no figura su nombre en ninguna de las imágenes aquí expuestas? Saludos y gracias desde Bs As Argentina!!

Was lucky enough to play with him when I lived in Miami. Great person, great showman, great teacher. He is truly missed by all.
