    Holy shit.
    My friend lost his mother. I went to the funeral today. It might be the best moment and the best track to jam over today. In my playing I never remember putting so much soul in a solo, as well as playing that technically.
    That one was for you bro. May your mother rest in piece.
    Thanks for the one who made this masterpiece, best backing track hands down.

    No, you don't have to. Listen carefully to music and decide which scale you can use. Have you ever learned scales? Once you've learned one scale on a certain position on the fret board, say C major, slide it by two frets to the bridge and you can get D major scale.

    You can learn scale and theory all you want. Hendrix was Hendrix me personally Dimebag was a lil more in the direction about just feel. You can't teach feel or soul it's within the players heart to bring that out if you ain't got that than personally I don't really bother by certain theorist based guitarist. Don't get me wrong knowing when to apply certain skills to changes in keys is a must which by example you would need to listen to i am a Viking yngwie is very underrated by this ability. Ev

    Kudos to the one who made this awesome backing track. I used this backing track for my solo guitar composition. When I was writing this piece, I was thinking of my father. I am glad that he was able to hear it before he died 3 years ago. The piece is called "Dad's Blue, Sad Blues"
    I hope it is okay that I used this as my backing track. Thank you and hope you'll like it.

    Good track, I am going to show my musical ignorance here, but I just wanted to know if a piece of music is in the key of E or C, or D etc, how do you play it right, do you have to use a capo on certain frets?

  • @Glazeman

    You should write that the B7 chord does not fit into Em.
    I really like this, you can create some cool riffs with that, but some people may not know this by just seeing the chords and can get in trouble.
    But awesome track! Cheers!

    • @alex-chan4715
      @alex-chan4715 7 лет назад

      Actually, B7 can fit in E minor, but ONLY if it's in harmonic or melodic minor.
      Harmonic minor scale in E:
      E F# G A B C D# E.
      Ascending melodic minor scale in E:
      E F# G A B C# D# E.
      Take a minute to look at what I said above and realize some chords can fit it in other modes.

  • @larry2388
    @larry2388 7 лет назад

    Make sure to play that D# from the Harmonic Minor scale when the B7 chord is playing.

      you can use a scale aeolian Em a mixolydian scale of a De C Lydian scale, attention to the dominant secondary B7: B7 uses an arpeggio, hello, have fun!

    • @MrTheDreamweaver
      @MrTheDreamweaver 10 лет назад +1

      In fact, you can use E Aeolian (which happens to be E natural minor) but the D# in B7 is taken from E Harmonic Minor scale :P If you want it simple, just play E natural Minor and when the B7 arrives play E Harmonic Minor :P
