I didn't say he is the best, because I don't know them all of course, There could be people better than him that I know (like Tei for example) But I really think that his technique is really good (and his voice is really unique but this is just an opinion) and at a such young age, being able to sing live without going off tune, without losing control of breathing and using the technique at it's limit is a rare thing. That is why I think he is ONE of the best out there right now.
I feel like Chen doesn't get the recognition he deserves (I mean it's hard to when you're in a group that big, but still!). He is a very technically good singer, and I feel how much he loves to sing in every word that comes out of his mouth. Okay, we can chat about dynamics and crap, but seriously just watch him perform, listen to that voice, that vibrato, that soothing tone, and tell me he isn't an amazing singer that stirs your heart. Chen is one of my favorite singers of all time! (And he will always be my ultimate bias because we share the same overly thought out sense of humor :3 )

Korea has forced conscription. Most men go at 18-19 years old but doctors are exempted from it and idols can go at an older age... i.e. when they are 29 years old. Xiu being the oldest will go to military in 2019 when he becomes 29 so EXO wont be able to hold any group activities and so SM will start using EXO to earn money by making sub-groups and letting the members do solo activities like how Super Junior is doing right now.

Chen has his own vibes and aura that others doesn't. He might be not that popular among members but everyone knows when it comes to vocal, he is no 1. That is why he is my bias. Still in 2020: So captivating. Chen has the most beautiful and angelic voice I have ever heard. You can feel his heart and soul pour out in every performance he gives whether solo or with EXO. Listening to his voice makes all your troubles and sorrows melt away. Absolutely heavenly.

i love his clean and powerful voice. i feel like especially powerful voices are lacking in kpop. (not just pushing your voice to a high volume but actually singing)

I hate it when most of the idols singing ballad song will just stand still like a statue and wont even move an inch and when the camera goes around them they will like wink or do some cute face,like what you see on most inkagyo stage. One night I put this song as repeat mode, and gradually fell asleep as the song gone. Suddenly I woke up, I saw that it was around six o'clock. I woke up from the rhythm, then i don't know why, I just got touched and my tears drop down... My chennie truly has the best voice in the world in my eyes... Jesus, please make his whole life peaceful and full of happiness... Looking back on my whole life until now, I really get bare luck and real happiness. So I really hope he'll never experience the same thing wth me... Actually in the past I really didn't have religions-like beliefs or sth like that, but now I'm kinda willing to accept the existence of someone like god ... If there is I truly hope Chen can get enough blessings from you cuz he' such a gorgeous person and devotional to his beloved Catholism.

WOW. Looking back to Mama Era... His vocals are like... 10000000 times better now than before, and he still was perf then. I cant even - his voice is so flexible and his range is expanded to a level that makes you see that he can do anything he wants with his voice, and itll be perfect, no matter what.
When he sings high notes his voice is so powerful and it gives me goosebumps but when he sings songs like this his voice is so sweet that i can't function, i feel i'm melting haha

I rememeber how I spammed one or two years ago my friend with this video because I loved his voice and singing soso much (I was an hardcore Chen stan back then too). She sometime replied back if it was really Chen from Exo and after I said yes, she was like 'Woah, I didn't know that he could sing that well." I was somehow sad because it just showed me how under appreciated he was but now he gets more and more recognization through King of masked singer, OSTs and CBX so I'm really really happy ♡
