knot tying! Хобби
Super neat, never will remember it no matter how hard i try lol, fish brain memory
😂😂😂
🤣 if you love fishing it will be easier
Same, I hope I have cell service whenever I need to tie a knot so I can scroll trough this channel.
It's just a double taut line hitch, no?
Ты не один, брат, ты не один...))
That's cool. *resumes square knotting everything*
you don't need that first half-hitch. The taut-line you tie after that will do the exact same thing.
And any sailor will know that a rolling hitch is a better knot to tie in this instance.
Teach me all your knot ways... 🙇♂️
Came here to say it was just a taught line with an extra step but you beat me. Kudos.
The extra half hitch always worked great for me on the monkey board, to give me extra control on heavy collars running in Bottom Hole Assembly on a drill stem. Maybe there’s more uses than your experience alone 🤷🏻♂️
Any boy scout will only use a single taut-line hitch...without the extra half-hitch.
@@piratecat990 I guess that’s the deference in a Boy Scout and a Rough Neck. 😂
More than knot , I like the idea of floating tent !
I use em to cover my hammocks so i can enjoy the rains
Design thinking !
Super neat! Man discovers 150 year old tautline hitch.
Back in the boy scouts.
...you would learn the tautline hitch which is simpler and works just as well
Cool variation of the taught line knot.
And certainly NOT anything new
Definitely not new
Taut Line hitch with quick release
Yeah I was about to say “that’s not new”. That knot has been around for hundreds of years.
@bartender18duff and it's a beauty. I think it would be pretty hard to actually invent a knot at this point that rivals what's out there in terms of simple, safe and effective. 🙌
😂So Funny 😂
That is a single and double half hitch. Super helpful to know how to tie
I still say taught line for every situation like this. One knot, never loosens without effort
Oh !! I gotta learn that one !!!
Thank You !!
Truckers hitch works really well on those
congrats for "rediscovering" the age-old marlinspike and the taut line hitch.
Amazing 👏
Godamn knots! Watch them all day and cant remember any
no annoying intro, no loud/obnoxious music, no AI narrator, just simple visual!! awesome! will still not remember and doing it in the future tho
오~~매듭 진짜 편하게 할수있는 방법 굿정보 감사합니다
Every first class scout knows that, but good info
Suuuper
Чувак с вязкой узлов умиляет. Красава!👍👍👍
Nice
Just what I needed, thanks buddy ✌️
Perfect idea thanks bro🎉
Отлично!!!
Super
Very nice exlent
Very good display 👏
SUPER
I like how the sfx is Mouth
Thanks a lot, just in time. Easy and clever, shown the way the old blondie can understand (that's me). Please teach me to hang a new hammock.
ありがとうございます!
👌👌❤️
Điều cơ bản này đứa trẻ lớp 3 nào ở Việt Nam tụi tao cũng biết, khỏi chỉ haha
Rất hữu ích ❤
might be new to you ,, old school camping , i taught my scouts that 30 years ago
Just tried this today, it was surprisingly good. Normally I do other hitches and friction knots but this time I had quite long tail left so used it all.
My kid will open that knot up lol
WTF!!! I did it intuitively like fkn 12y ago! xD didn't know it's a fancy knot!! :D Take care Y'all folks! :)
Mantap sip
I emailed this too myself. Maybe ill remeber i have it for reference.
About 3 more steps than needed, but it looks cool. A simple taut line hitch will get the job done.
Gorgeous
Lol. I figured that one out back in the mid 90s
Good luck
For real hope i remember this
Great thx.😊
😮I presume it can be used in setting up an instant washing line 😮
There are so many possible variants! 👍🏻
A question my friend
If the ropes are released, this awning will fold in two, right? I live on the roof of a large house and in the place
It drizzles on winter nights and that makes my floor waterlogged. I was thinking of covering the entire roof with Alusin corrugated sheets, but since I grow my plants and flowers on the roof, I noticed that if I close the roof I will deny my children sunlight. crops. When watching this video, the idea occurs to me of installing a large, foldable awning that, when I release the ropes, will open and fold in two. But my question is whether this would withstand a current of wind that usually runs across my roof? I really appreciate your time and any recommendations you can give me. Thank you, Regards!
Good knot as long as you keep tension on the knot. Unfortunately, the knot will slip....usually in the middle of the night!!!😢
The new kind of hitch that’s been around forever
1 round two half hitch
Never seen a strong wind I see 😂
This is how you tire down aircraft on the ramp.
このシリーズ本でも出して貰いたい、全部覚えたい、何かに役立つ❓❤❤❤
夜の営みの時に役に立ったよ。
@@user-ot3yc4vk7y Allow me a question, when the ropes are not tensioned the awning folds in two, is this correct?

As a woman, I don’t know how to make beautiful bow 🎀
I'd prefer the tried and true taught line hitch
なーるほど!😮
Half hitch plus a taut line hitch. You can skip the half hitch though, it'll work just as well
CRAZY AI... i was THINKING about a binding technique to train my plants. THAT is what i need.
This is how we tie down helicopter rotorblades
Superb
So Wow
1,2, around and through
군대에서 훈련나가면 A형, C형 칠때 쓰던 매듭법.. 고참들로부터 전수되어 오던건데 여기서 보네 ㅎㅎ
Good job
Simpler way: loop it twice inside and once outside.
You have always had a good rope
Why in the world would you think this is some new revelation? half hitch (not needed) and taught line. As said before this is a standard knot taught in the Boy Scouts since it began almost 120 years ago. And the knot certainly was known prior to that.
Ahhh there’s my shoe lace
👏👏👏
It aint new i learned this in Boy Scouts 60 years ago
2 under 1 9ver works just fine....no need to get fancy
The fake natural songs.😢
Until the wind blows
Wow, you said wind! A question my friend

Wow! You know how to tie to slip knots.

more please, need go to sleep 😴
The sound : ting ting 😭
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Taught line hitch
I learned the taught line hitch 40 years ago.
50 years ago for me. I don't understand why all these people are calling these knots new when they were in existence 60 or more years ago.
Nice 💯 good job 👏
日本では自在結び👍
Crazy
Definitely "knot" new. Been around forever. 😅
A Taut line hitch would work better.
so helpful. thx you

I’m over waiting with the lighter like hurry up
जैसा हमने गांठ लगाना सिखाया है बैसी ही लगाई है।😂
So you did a taut line hitch with extra steps
❤😊
Yep, we call them half hitches
👌👌👌
New? Been using it on a tent for the last 50years.
