Standing ovation for Stephen Sayer 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Main dancer's names: Marcus Koch (white suit), Rasmus Holmqvist (blue shirt), Stephen Sayer (black, rear). They are fantastics & great dancers.
Why is Stephen Sayer mentioned more than any other dancer but he is in the front? It would seem that the man in the blue suit is the main dancer.
@@waltercarmona9372 People talk about Steve because he is one of the best, most recognizable and most beloved swing dancers in the world and the fans are happy to see him. Meanwhile, the two dancers who created this routine are rightfully in the front row. The main creator is Marcus - it was his idea and the first half of the choreography, which amazed the dance community, after some time Rasmus choreographed the second half.
Thank youuu ihv been searching for them for so long
The guy behind those two, in the grey jacket, is fantastic!! So smooth!!
I have learned this is Stephan Sayer and he's a professional dancer who brought boogie back to life. Kinda amazing!
He looks like John Travolta
Thank you. I never noticed him my first viewing. Yes, he is really good.
@@dalecolson8215 not true.
Yes and he teaches dance in LA...he is wonderful❤
Steve dances so effortlessly, like he’s floating
Stephen Sayer is amazing! Best dancer on this video by far!
Great comment!
I adore the man in the middle, with the black pants, love how he waves his fingers and is in his own happy world. Would love to see all of them in a 2022 anniversary version
The best dancer there ;) . Smooth and fluid.
Steve Sayer - the boss
He's Steve Sayer. One of the best dancer out there. Dude's dance is super smooth and fluid. Look at his dances with Chanzie, absolute perfection, you'll love it!
Stephan Sayer is from another planet.
I clicked going, “ok, whatever.” Then I started smiling -and never stopped. This made me happy. I watch it regularly now when I want to smile. I love the two main ones in front and everybody behind them just having a blast doing it their own way. Man, what a killer idea! I can’t dance but a I think I would love this.
Might I suggest any video in here featuring a couple named Nils & Bianca if this music & dancing does it for you. Those 2 are freaking INCREDIBLE! Nils good at adding a little comedy in his old school dancing & his partner isn't only dynamite on the dance floor, she's a fox!
@@dianaa.1735 Thank you!
I'll look for Nils and Bianca now ☺👍💕
Boy, were you right about Nils & Bianca! Thanks!!!
Oh yes you can! Use your feet, and your arms. Just see how much your heart lets you boogie with your eyes closed.
You can dance! Just let yourself go to the music and have a blast...I do, regularly, even if it does scare my cat...
Our broken, sad, old world would HEAL if we all got together on a regular basis and just DANCED like this! LOVE IT!
Sadly....This is a SIN....they should be praying jesus....instead of doing The Devil's Dance....
FUCK IT!!!!
Lets....DANCE!!!!
I LOVE HUMANITY...NATURE.....SATAN....
Absolutely.
You forgot to mentioned to sing. SInging has a very positive impact on our mind
Absolutely!!
I want to learn this so badly
I couldn’t Agree more !!
Music , dance always makes people from all walks of life get together !!!!!
Steve Sayer - to paraphrase Tigger, 'legs are made out of of rubber, his bottom is made out of swing!' Absolutely one of the most fluid and masterful swing dancers of our time. It's like the music is part of him. Brilliant to watch.
cant keep my eyes off him when i watch this video lol
@@Shippo1337me too
Stephen Sayer looks a lot like John Travolta when he was younger!
Smooth
The RUclips short version brought me here. I can watch this all day lol. They all killed it. 👏 👏
Me as well, very cool, I wish I could do it .
I like how they’re all in sync but not rigidly choreographed. Each dancer exhibits their own style.
I love how each one has their own rhythm, pacing and style. Mankind is something else...
Damn right we are.
Wonderful
Wish I could do that!
"Were you rushing or were you dragging?"
This is one of the positives about us. These wholesome moments where there is unity but you can see everyone's individuality.
I am 72 and in good physical shape, watching these youngsters boogie makes me want to learn to dance this and get my cardio at the same time.
Dance is the best all round exercise for cardio, muscles, flexibility, stamina and the brain. Go for it. Your limitations will widen as you develop. Great social too.
Look for line dancing classes in your area; it’s a great place to start.
Also tap dancing classes are great fun, and some of the moves are similar. If you have continuing ed classes in your area, or a senior center, that are open at this time, they might offer such a class. And if they don't, ask them to start one. Otherwise, there are tap dance "classes" on RUclips and elsewhere online.
Go for it!!
The guy in the grey jacket and black pants is amazing, looks like he is moving with a very light body, the point of this dance is to try not to move the upper body and just move the lower body, that is why looks so great and the guy with the grey jacket does perfectly
I agree! He's mesmerizing!
Best cardio workout ever. I’ve never seen people having so much fun with their clothes on !
I was grinning and giggling the entire video, this is AWESOME I wish more young people still danced like this! Bring vintage dancing back!!!
It's funny cause, I remember for a short stint in the 90's swing dancing made a come-back. A girlfriend and I would go out and test our dance skills, the guy's were "too cool" to try it out.. but that didn't matter, we still had a blast. And yes, I do agree, I love this kind of free-form of dance expression, it's always a fun time. 😃
no
Stephen Sayre steals the show when he wags his finger!
Never ever ever gets old.
The moves of the guy in blue jacket are insane, best dancer 😮
Nothing more exhilarating than dancing with a group of dancers who are all in sync and now the moves- ; the energy is electric
Welcome angels of time travellers......let's dust off the sacred art of dancing....with real essence of fun....old true fun from soul
The upper body control.....the precision of the steps...wonderful!!!!
Fabulous
I love the blond headed guy with the blue vest on, he is just amazing.
Guy in blue - poetry in motion ❤️
Yeah, I agree with you - he's an astonishingly good dancer
YES I agree, the guy in the blue, he was REALLY good!!!!
Love that guy in the shiny suit in the front row. Easy languid moves
Smooth - allmost effortless. 😀👍🏼
Also love the guy in the dark blue with the vest in long sleeve white shirt rolled up! And there are a few other guys in the front row also! This is fabulous
The guy in the blue vest gets a ton of credit (and deserves it), but the guy in the white suit has ALL the moves with seemingly zero effort. Both are fantastic dancers!
I think when dancers are taller, longer limbs and lanky, it looks even better. But, you're right, the blue guy was fantastic and all were doing so well. I just believe how they learn the choreography, the foot moves, etc !! They do change, so maybe it's with the music they remember. Bravo !
@@KindCountsDeb3773 it's great eh?
It's brilliant
The guy in blue is pigeon toed like me! Did you all know it's not turnout laziness? It's your bones actually tilted in!
Eh... the guy in the white suit (Markus) actually gets all the credit because he came up with this choreography in the first place. :P
Steve Sayer steals the show
Wow! How many hours of practice for its looking so easy? No lewd behavior; no dresses barely covering cheeks, nor exposed cleavage; no blaring of bass such that both eardrums and floors trembled: Just fantastic mucianship, creative footwork and able bodies---God gifted and mankind driven.
It's funny how boomers complain about dancing being "lewd" today, and they praise the boogie woogie style of the past as being better, superior, and cleaner when back in the day, rock n' roll was hated by the older generations for being vulgar--"the devil's music," as they liked to call it. History has a way of repeating itself lol.
Good clean fun!
Don't you just love it when you're trying to make a point on social media and your so-called smart phone pulls a half-wit "spell-check" behind your back that undermines it all?
Oops! There it went again. I give up. Anyway, I'd be half-witted, for sure, if allowing the sneaky Google automated faux-pas to get the better of old me. Here's to good-humored resignation and having fun with that Boogie-Woogie!!!
Wonderful
That's REAL dancing!! Glad to see young people interested in this!!
thats like saying thats "real" music. What is "real" dancing?
@@oldmentalpickle4627 I'm 71, twerking at my age group is not dancing!!
@@karenmurphy6749 i agree..twerking is for the strip clubs..its a gross fad that has been around far too long in the spotlight.
The guy with the gray suit in the middle is just perfect 😍😍😍
I am 76 yo - and boy did we have fun!!! We had so much more fun and joy than kids these days!! And most of it was completely innocent!!!
I watched a lot of these, but this video, and in particular, the gentleman in the middle with the gray jacket, golden tie, black shirt and pants that raises his hand is absolutely mesmerizing. I cannot stop watching the first 14 seconds of his dance! Brings such a smile!
Stephen Sayer, the King
He killed it.
He"s a professional : a dance teacher.

Agreed! 😂😂😂
I was so with it I almost fell off my chair... I really can not get enough of this sort of dance routine... FANTASTIC.
Me neither! I have to watch it once a day at least!
They seriously need to bring this back to the clubs!
Many gyms offer Zumba etc but this looks like so much more fun and would certainly burn off calories.
Zumba is not real partnership dancing. Swing latin and ballroom have all been put into the "ballroom" category. Ballroom lessons are expensive so it makes it harder for everyone to afford it. Which is interesting considering all those dances were started by people in lower class communities or countries. Zumba is easier to teach in a group setting because there is no lead and follow. Sorry for the whole tid but but i love dance and its history
@@ryanbrandnu7660 If you learn swing or Latin from a ballroom teacher you are learning ballroom. Go take actual swing or Latin lessons; they are everywhere and much cheaper.
@@garyco766 due to corona all dance Studios seem to be quite empty where I live. Been that way since April
@@ryanbrandnu7660 Yes well, I mean in normal times. Right now the same applies to ballroom studios and Zumba classes.
@@garyco766 understood. We don't have a salsa only studio near me. The only swing studio teaches west coast and the prices are competitive to a ballroom studio. My point was if you want to take partnership dancing classes u need a partner and a teacher and not many studios where I am offer private instruction cheap. It is weird to me considering these dances did not come from wealthy backgrounds.
All of them we’re good but the two in the middle “were outstanding!”
You're sleeping on the guy in gold!!
WOW!!! THIS ONE IN A WHITE SUIT, STILL AN ACTOR, SETS THE TONE AND RHYTHM! JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!
So true, IS he an Actor too?
It makes me feel so happy inside watching these guys all having such a great time 😁
Fabulous! I can’t stop smiling when I’m watching them - they are having so much fun!!😊
Kathleen Perez GRINNING EAR TO EAR!

but will they have a class for people with 2 left feet? :)
Same!!! Fabulous footwork!! 😃😃😃😄😄😄😁😁❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜
Robin Hilbrook: Same!!! Footwork is amazing. 😃😃😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
If you can look cool & smooth doing this dance then you can look cool in everything you do in life. It's not just a dance it is a lifestyle. Some people are really good at looking good, they are so good looking.

I'm pretty sure him and the guy to his left in the white suit (not real young anymore) are leading it.

This video with all these superb dancers dancing together each one with their particular style is so majestic.
The guy in grey jacket made my day!! He seems effortless doing something so difficult! Amazing video!
STEVE SAYER
Stephen Sayer a Dance Super Star
@@PoX-y4bhe’s effortless. Not overly choreographed
One of the things I really love about swing dancing etc is everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves, They have smiles on their faces and are so energetic. You see people dancing now and it is all thrusting and obscene movements and no one looks like they are enjoying themselves. Just showing off.
Yeah, sorry about that!
Such energy and rythmn
Is this a room full of Germans in love with an American Music and Dance Tradition? I Love it! Smiled the whole time!
If I knew the dance moves, I would have joined in. There is just something magical about watching a group of people dancing and grooving so well together! Woooo! 🔥🔥🔥
I could watch that once a day every day for the rest of my lifebb
Swing music always makes me smile.
Thanks for the lift.
Yknow one of my very favorite things about these types of dance - swing, lindy hop, Charleston, jitterbug, etc etc - is that the dress code is *so nice*!
If anything can tell you about the influences and the meaning behind the dance, it’s the clothes people wear when they dance it.
Twerkers and jigglers in night clubs wear the most lascivious scanty outfits. People who are into THIS kind of dance dress with class, elegance, modesty, and the most dapper attitudes.
The difference is stark, and in my opinion one is far more attractive than the other. Give me a man who can REALLY dance!
Amen🐾🐾🐾
Sadly, it's also hot as hell. Working that hard in a full suit, I'd be soaked in minutes.
@@garyco766 oh certainly so. I love swing dancing, and everyone is always sweating LOL. Doesn't seem to depreciate the class.
I could watch these guys for hours..... absolutely brilliant 👍🏻

I’m addicted to watching this. I kept seeing the short version. Finally found this.
This is cooler than cool!! Neater than neat!! This is absolutely wonderful!! Love to see such energy, enthusiasm and talent and NONCHALANCE!!!
I just love this so much - and watched it lots of times...I need help...

He’s gotta be related to the guy in the white suit…his dad maybe? I got turned on to this today cause the 1 minute shorts videos. They over dubbed a 80’s song onto this dance and zeroed in on the blue vest kid the teacher in gray suit and white suit guy ..the tune is good whoever thought to lay it over this video.
It’s so wonderful to see these style dances come back in 2019! So much more fun than twerking!!
How the fuck do you know which is more fun? Why degrade one thing to speak good of another, cant they both be fun.there are alot of twerkers having fun. Gees what a bitch
Chewy Praline because people like you are just rude and nasty! Why you gotta say fuck with every other word and call people bitches ? You think you sound so cool when you are just ghetto and trashy. It takes no skill to twerk.Get some civilization.
@@minniemouska4320 well, good for you! Sharon

Yeah! He need's to learn some etiquette
Soooo very rude!
@@johnhariis250 All these dances (that existed alread, like lindyhop/jitterbug, shag, blues and balboa) were banned by tha Nazis, because they said "this is against etiquette". So where does that put you and your argument?
Tho, he might have expressed an opinion rudely it DOES NOT invalidate his point, which is a good one and can be summed up by: live and let live.
Ping Pong the Nazis didn’t want anyone to have fun.

I normally don't like to watch dancing or to dance by its own but this @RasmusHolmqvist has mesmerized me entirely. Can't focus at anything else there. He is a STAR truly.
This is wonderful! Please find some way to let each row move to the front in turn so we can see each wonderful dancer!!!
I know. I was wondering why it was all men along the front. Why were the women pushed to the back? Some were great dancers from what I could see.
@@whatbringsmepeace Granted, its being just my opinion, but I don't think the presentation had anything to do with pushing women to the back or preventing anyone from stepping forward. I believe it was more about those men in the front having choreographed and/or practiced that routine so many times as to have both step and sequencing etched into their gray matter. Etched so deeply that they were free to lead; to exhibit showmanship; to have fun; in fact, as the song goes, "To fly like a bird up in the sky!!!"
Fantastic! What fun! Wish I was there.

The general consensus that this video made everyone smile is so wholesome… I found a shorter clip elsewhere and immediately had to find the whole thing to watch another 50x .. it’s so good 😊
Man to remember all of those steps and moves, what dedication. That was fun to watch.
Love watching all these folks just gettin' it done, nice moves and always with that smile is Stephen Sayer, second row, dead center with a cream colored tie on; well done Stephen!!
Love the woman with the hat on the left!!!
