- Learning with Pibby aka Come and Learn with Pibby aka "WHY U RUEN MY CHILDHUD?!" is still a hot topic! And rightfully so! It has so much potential! One thing I've seen people discuss is how the glitch from Pibby and the void from The Amazing World of Gumball are somehow related. And while I disagree with that statement, there is one element of Gumball that could really spice up the story if they decide to utilize him! In case you could tell, it's Rob. X) Rob as some kind of fourth wall breaking cartoon savior would be all kinds of AWESOME! If they decided to go through with it. ^^
P.S. This is probably the most Game Theory / Film Theory I'll ever get in a video with a lotta out there points, but hey, writing a meta story can be hard sometimes. X)

i feel like the glitch would fuse with his body in a way to make him still sentient with rare uncontrollable outbursts, he would keep his distance from the main group while gifting the remote.
That's a nice concept! A character infected by the glitch but still being sentient, who the gang tries to get closer to, since an infected being on their side might benefit the group. But the character itself tries to distance themselves from them, knowing how dangerous they are as an infected.
I don't think that Rob would be affected or be touched by the Glitch

This is what exactly what I think 4th wall breakers could be in this show. A messenger to the other characters about the disaster but they don't listen and they pay the price.I can take this both ways, said character begging the audience to help but we can't do anything as he gets consumed or the character takes this bitterly and let's everyone die a painful and torturous death.

I have a theory. you know how when pibby's world got corrupted she got saved by the credits? I think that Rob may have used the universal remote to change the scene to the credits to save Pibby form being corrupted. and he keeps doing the same thing for all of the other characters how are about to fall vicitm to the glitch. maybe he used the portal to travel to each of the cartoon worlds he know would be corrupted.

Honestly, even if Pibby doesn't do a DDLC and becomes mega meta, Rob could still be a valuable ally. Because of his universal remote, he's very powerful, able to alter the progression of the shows and warp to others in the blink of an eye.

This is assuming the glitch attacks them in their most recent state
If the glitch attacks them in their earliest state (episode 1), rob may not even have the universal remote nor any knowledge about the void, essentially making him useless
Not.. Really? There's still an unspeakable amount of rerun versions of rob that are spanned across CN alone. Plus, there's nothing that implies the glitch even goes after the "earliest" run versions of shows. Everything that we've so far SEEN get corrupted are in their most "recent" state, i.e bootleg superman, cat lady villain, pibby, and flintstone. Even Bubbles and Gumball if you pay attention to the artstyle.
@@tehnsib The Finn and Jake in the short are from WAY early in Adventure Time's run and there's no duplicates of anyone running around unless versions from alternate iterations are counted as their own beings. Which wouldn't be the case for the likes of Rob, Finn, and Jake anyway because the versions we have and know now are the same ones throughout their entire runs even if that is the case.

If I'm being honest of a theory:
1 Can't rob just bring the survivors to the void, as a safe place?
since he knows how to get there.
2 Can't he just use the rewind button to save the cartoons who got corrupted and send them to the void with Pibby, and other characters?
3 Can't he just press the power button to delete the glitch to save all of the universes, cartoons, and old cartoons?

I also just want to say this, the new Gumball series (yes there is going to be a new gumball series) is on a STREAMING SERVICE, which I believe this, after the creators found out how popular the show was, they wanted to save/reboot it, instead of being in a cable television, it will be on a streaming service since everyone now uses streaming services, this is where this video comes in, after the glitch consumes them, Rob starts to fade away, from the glitch, and everyone from the Gumball universe with him, they're coming back, as they say their final goodbyes to their new friends they fade away completely, and they reappear, in a different universe, where they will never be consumed by the void, after all the show has come back, and since everyone will almost always be watching it, the void won't see the end of that show as a mistake, because everyone will be watching them and they won't be leaving anytime soon.

Another interesting concept they can add is that if they pull off a “Never Ending Story” and “Happy Feet” vibe. Which can add on to this theory. Hear me out:
When the glitch was about the consume them all, Pibby breaks the 4th wall and turns to the audience. She begs the humans watching to take action to save them all before they get consumed.
Then we switch to the real world, in which government officials watched what Pibby is telling them and decides what to do. They have debates and discussions with the CEO’s of streaming services and companies arguing one side or another on what to do, eventually taking it to the United Nations. Where they debate one last time to determine the fate of cable tv. Two ending could happen here
Good Ending: enough representatives agree to add restrictions to what companies of streaming services can take and what not, since both streaming and cable can boost the Earth’s economy. The governments around the world sign what the UN recommends into law, and then the glitch in the cartoon worlds starts to die and get weakened, and once the last government signed it into law, the glitch dies out entirely and the worlds are saved thanks to human action. This ending seems unrealistic, but it’s still a happy ending for cartoons to stay alive and free the cartoons taken by the glitch. Pibby goes back to her world and lives happily ever after
Bad Ending: Not enough representatives agree to put the restrictions, and once the final decision is official (like as soon as the gravel hits, sort of vibe), the screen fades to black, and the other theory video of the intros playing occurs and then it expands to see the streaming icons, then ends with the TV off, and that’s the story…

The show should embrace insanity and darkness but also some of the other ideas about Rob could be possible and very interesting as well
A huge cartoon crossover for people to see on TV to prevent the Glitch sounds like a pretty cool idea, although since the series ain't for kids, I don't think the audience will be that big.

I don't think Rob is likely to be a major character in the series as a whole, but it would honestly be a crime not to have Rob be a heavy presence in the Amazing World of Gumball episode.
Anyone else remember the Adventure Time episode called "A Glitch Is A Glitch". That would be something definitely worth looking into. And it even has Finn and Jake both going into the glitch unharmed.

Rob was my favourite character in Gumball. I would freak out if he made an appearance in the show. Learning with Pibby has a lot of potential and it really seems to be getting popular. So, if they do end up making the show in the end, I believe that would help raise the viewings on cable television! (Plus, it would be the perfect thing to watch with my bf. Literally ruining our childhood in the best way ever. XD)

Honestly I feel like with Ultra Instinct Shaggy now being canon, after the glitch consumes everything it cuts to the pitch of the series (essentially a phineas and verb CATU moment or reference) and the exec's decide to change it to have shaggy just pretending to be corrupted and actually just save everyone using only .0001% of his power and then it cuts to shaggy actually doing that (of course this is most likely not gonna happen but if it does I will be a happy meme enthusiast and predict the shows ending was gonna be meta as HECC)

Now, here's something I find interesting that I don't think anyone else has pointed out. All the shows the glitch consumes have either had a series finale or were cancelled. That just sticks out to me bc I think it means that the glitch is the producers of a show thinking it is no longer a good investment or that fans have lost interest

My personal pibby theory/headcanon is that the glitch is the embodiment of TV show networks trying to be “hip with the kids” an or becoming cringey which is why in the concept art it said the the glitch will say meme stuff like based or smh

i think the glitch came from the void the void started out invading elmore and grew bigger as it consumed more souls from the amazing world of gumball corrupting nearly every character except for darwin and rob who had a lot of willpower and went to other tv programmes as it thought its job was done taking out nearly every character
For some reason the glitch kinda reminds me of venom because it absorbs people and controls them.
The void is kinda like a super buff and more powerful version of venom as it’s just larger and can absorb more people
You know, I rewatched the Pibby trailer and I noticed a single frame where it’s corrupted Pibby, your theory may not be too farfetched

I really want Rob to be a big role as a hero because he saw for himself that blissful ignorance is the main cause to his main realms demise.
from what I hear the corruption and the glitch *could* be confused as the same thing, they're more like similar but different concepts. the glitch was a massively meta thing about old shows and ideas getting scrapped when no one watches anymore, the corruption as of now seems to be similar, but... not. the glitch represents ideas just naturally disappearing from the mainstream, the corruption is an active force that could be more like cancelations or planned finales. since it seems to be setting up to be a fairly meta show, pibby could slowly realize that the glitch is targeting the ending shows first more than currently running ones, probably over the course of the series however long its gonna be, maybe culminating in pibby finding a rerun list only to see almost every show she's seen get consumed is on there. dejected, they stare for some time as they watch canceled/ finished shows before a serious meta moment in them then seeing a rebooted show. while its confusing at first they realize its a new chapter, a new chance for the show, and a way that people rediscover the old show. the glitch to them is a horrific all consuming mass, but in reality the show just ends. so, realizing the glitch is just their own network trying to end the series, they just sit there as the glitch takes them like a flood of tar, their lack of fear not stopping the pain, but then they reappear in their respective shows, though some things are different. it ends with all of them happy as they realize that, like a show ending, its only painful for a time, but they come back in the form of reruns and maybe even new series.
while this is still immensely meta it'd be the much wanted "good" ending that's organically built up to as pibby and friends go through failure after failure of being unable to save shows from the corruption
Honestly, I feel like how Rob got corrupted by the Void during his escape and how the Void is so similar to the Glitch I feel like he might be immune and he somehow uses this knowledge to save everyone left alive by sending them to and from the Void

From what everything sounds like, it basically is the "the real lesson was the friends we made along the way" type ending, which is considered one of the oldest tropes in tv/literature history. And given what the show was going for with its huge crossovers and the death of cable streaming, this could ironically work in its own way. Kind of like its attempting to go complete full circle over carton history itself (idk tho this could be an overspeculation)
This is possible if the person who made the fnf pibby mod agrees with this theory

Good ending: Before the Glitch grabs and eats them The R3DACTED Saves them and MCs and OCs comes and saves them creating a haven for the unglitched and does tests on the glitched until the find the cure which requires pibby and the gang to cause drama and suspense and even romance to save their show. Episode by episode each one asks at the end

I think a twist that we can pull off is that if we include the world of South Park in it. I don’t think the glitch will take over that world since it’s set to reality and technically IS the higher power (making fun of real world events, etc.) I believe that Pibby escapes one more time, she meets the boys and together they try to find a way to save cable TV, while adding their own SP hunor
I think the synopsis of the Gumball movie is important is figuring out what the glitch is. As it's been stated, the movie starts when Gumball's biggest fan finds the "missing episode," opening up a portal connecting the cartoon and real worlds. My theory is that the already existing void will somehow enter or consume this portal, turning it into the glitch, and allowing it passage into other cartoons.
Fun fact: the glich is called Dr@$+*&$ by adult swim says in the des in Learning With Pibby!
I don't know if anyone has thought of this yet, but I have a personal theory/idea that could connect the void and the darkness. Some of the materials and documentation surrounding Pibby mentions the Apocalypse as a tagline. What if it's not the characters personal apocalypse that's being referenced, but humanity's as a whole. The void takes things that are unwanted. What would the void do if there was no longer anyone left to want anything, technically making everything 'unwanted'? Would it not just claim everything? Or at least everything nobody remembers anymore. Hmm thought of a potential way to defeat the void. Just make clear to it in some way that it itself is unwanted. It might unmake itself or just relegate itself to itself and become a non-entity.
And then a random guy watches their show on streaming and they come back

While the glitch corrupts the mind of the infected, the void merely corrupts the body and not the mind. And Rob can't be infected cause he already technically is
Theory rob fixes everything at the end of the gumball movie but realizes it isnt over he and darwin glitch out of the show to different shows like pibby rob tells everything to darwin the glitch tries to kill rob but rob is already a glitch so everyone dies but rob alone in the void like he always should have been
this is why Rob is now my favorite caracter
I don't want it to end with the glitch winning, it should end like:pibby sacrificing herself to save everyone and bun bun, now free, seing his best friend dead he start crying with Aloy and Melira hugging him and then there are the credits acompagned with a slowed down versions of pibby song
Imagine gumball 2 he just gasp then sees other floating characters with blank white eyes and he just explores for 5 mins then a portal teleports him to pibby and them then rob gets infected with corruption and his eye starts to glitch and says run!! And the rest of the show is where they start fighting corrupted characters but after the first episode they forget everything and then remember and start getting infected too.
