    i'm at just over 91k miles on my '14 gt. i've noticed a slight dip in power from when it was new, and sputtering when cold starting from time to time. thinking it's time for some new plugs. recently worked on my son's tacoma that was running horribly. new plugs and wires (OEM toyota parts only!!) and that fixed the problem completely. aftermarket plugs, and wires=no bueno. always go oem on parts. and don't fall for the aftermarket "high performance" spark plug hype. modern motors are designed with specific spark plugs for a reason. cheers!

    Woooooowwwe!!!! Bad spark plug gasket huh? Bad seal on the spark plug puts oil from the outside world into the cylinder head covering your spark plug with oil? You think it might have anything to do with the wear on your rings valve guides anything like that?

  • @winkawak

    For some reason when i went to check my oil today, last couple inches of dipstick does not go in smoothly. It felt like something metal was in the way and rubbing against it, have to force it alittle in order to seat the dipstick.

      If anyone else is struggling with this: after you push up on the red part of the clip, press down on the housing where it the red part secures into and pull it loose as you press down on it.

    Hey Bubba, I have a 2011 GT with only 56,000 miles. Should I replace my spark plugs? The dealer quoted me $475 for that.

    • @BubbaBlueTube
      @BubbaBlueTube  4 года назад +1

      475!? That’s insane! You should be ok with 56,000 miles. I would do it around 75k. Whenever you do want to get it done though I would do it yourself

    • @RiffRock51
      @RiffRock51 4 года назад

      @@BubbaBlueTube Thanks Bubba. Another dealer just quoted me $320 for spark plugs. I'll probably wait until $75k. Also, does $1100 sound high for a full brake job front and rear with OEM Motorcraft parts? Two different Ford dealers quoted around $1100 for that.

      @@RiffRock51 Brakes are super easy, its basically two caliper bolts on every car that i've done. If your rotors need to be turned you can take it to a local mechanic and they will do them for about $15 a piece.

    What tool do you use to pull the spark plug out once it’s loosened?

    • @gatorsquad2322
      @gatorsquad2322 8 месяцев назад

      Spark plug sockets should have a special boot inside them so they get stuck to the socket and so you can put the plug back in to the head without it just falling out

    Hey man this might sound crazy but I think the motor in your car is 13-14 because the cam and exhaust sensors are bigger then the ones on 11-12. I kno this because I changed my car motor to 14 and I couldn't use the old sensors with the harness. You should compare to another 11-12 mustang
