Just picked up the next gen Kobalt kit from Lowes after watching your reviews. Came with the recip saw, 1/4 impact driver, 1/2 drill, work light, and jigsaw for $249. Case, charger, and 4.0 ah battery to boot. Very confident I made a great purchase after watching theses videos.

Nice!, I just picked up the same one also. Testing them at this moment haha. And they working nice so far. The new features and slight changes look good to me. But the flashlight on the older pack is a whiter light beam compared to this new packs flashlight which is a warmer light.

Cannot beat kobalt for the price. I have used the xtr version for 2 years and can’t kill it. I use the one handed as well. It won the one handed competition over at tool box buzz. So did the kobalt 7 1/4 miter saw which is one of my favorite tools. Great stuff as always

Wow I'm digging that new Sawzall. I have an air impact by kobalt is only 3/8" but it's a little beast and got the compressor and a 1/2" impact too. All kobalt. Great tools for the price. I might have to get a combo kit drill impact and recip. They're really stepping their game up.

I love my Kobalt stuff, it will run with the big boys all day. I'ma toked to see the 8ah UO are finally out gonna have to go grab a couple of those now. They are a must have for me. I've been in Kobalt for a while now, even the Red team go, guys grab my stuff half the time just cause it's so smooth. Kobalt's Rotary Hammer is a little beast for the price I've had mine over 2 years now and it's still going strong. I'm a concrete form carpenter and I couldn't tell you how many holes it's drilled from 5/32 to over an inch and it just chugs right along punching any hole you ask it too. Don't let the price fool you Kobalt is great stuff.

Couldn’t stop there 😅 grabbed the cordless brad nailer for another $250 came with selection of free gift and chose the rotary hammer drill. $500 I got a ton of new tools, 2 newer faster chargers and 3 4ah and 1 2ah batteries! Glad to see you do more kobalt reviews. By far best bang for your buck. Super durable amazing power that can come close to Milwaukee and in some tools beat them but cost at least 50% less across the whole line up. It’s a no brainer. I have to entire kobalt 24v line up minus the wood planer, and nailer. They have never failed me. I use most of them daily for service work and feel like a genius when big red users look puzzled as to how my tools compete against the big 3 at a fraction of the price especially batteries. Add-on edit x2: I just recently moved back to San Francisco from Arizona and had to get all new tools because mine were stolen from my house in Arizona. I went with Kobalt like I had before (I like the colors 🤣 and they perform great for what my use so it's a win-win) But I got their 1/4 in. impact, 1/2 drill, angle grinder, multi tool, and their 7 1/4 24v xtr circ saw and right after I bought all that not even two weeks later they came out with their new line! You can imagine how bummed I was BUT... I may just bite the bullet though and sell these and drop the extra money to get the new ones... Thoughts anyone?

Only if you are smart and like to save money. For me the best part is when some one sees me using all my kobalt tools and laughs checks them out (pleasantly surprised) and ask how long I’ve had them and find out most of my tools are over 5 years old. They just look so confused. Spending double for what you need will do that to you.😂
