The casual and blatant disrespect Andrew shows to Indian culture is crazy and for some reason hilarious. And I feel a little guilty that I spit my beer all over my screen when Andrew told Akaash he's been eating fingernails his whole life because Indians eat with their hands. And what really almost made me shit myself is how Akaash just stared at him like "wtf, bro I know we joke around but that's phucked up.
it's not disrespect but he's just challenging aakash. a podcast convo and real life is two different things - he's trying to let aakash flesh things out / throwing the alley-oop / but aakash can't do it in detail or even a comedian way, on the spot - he's biting but can't finish the chew. aakash goes with the flow, but his flow is too yes-man/no-IQ

With that said, north african/middle eastern food is great. Desserts are but not limited to: various types of pancakes, honey and/or nuts based baked goods, arguably the OG fried donuts, fruit based gummies, yogurts and cheese based desserts.... last off the top of my mind arguably the OG cake made with almond and semolina.
White comes second, Asian food a close third, latino and sub saharan tied at fourth.

Honestly, it all depends on taste. I don't think we can objectively say one is number one, but most of us can admit Italian,Mexican, Indian are in the top(and some cuisines i can't remember now at the moment).
French is definitely up there, and you can’t leave out Chinese and Japanese too.

About Japanese i can´t be a hundred percent sure yet, but you are right, i also find it seriously good.
Like with most things, Europeans are best.
Depends where you live.
If you ask an English person they'll probably say Indian because we have lots of Indian immigrants and therefore lots of great Indian food. If you ask an American they'll probably say Mexican for the same reason.
And then most other countries will say themselves lol.
Asian Cuisine (including middle eastern, Indian, and the far East) is vastly superior to all other regions. They just win by default because people don’t realize how varied it is. Some parts of Asia like Japan,Korea and Thailand are so unique because of their isolated history. And the rest of Asia was so colonized that they mostly have some sort European influence. Just look at Filipino food, it’s so diverse because it has Malay, Chinese, Spanish and American influences. There’s just more complex flavors around that region, they play with funk and umami a lot more than other cultures. Curry is bomb, noodles, BBQ, seafood unmatched, sushi…. The list goes on.
Yup I'm mexican and I always say the same thing. I love my Mexi shit but Asians got food on lock. It's actually crazy.

@@michaelweb7416 try it. I decided to try it by making it myself. I followed arecipe for tikka masala as close as possible and it was so good. I’ve eaten at Indian restaurants ever since.

Brits do some ok sweet things…Kit Kat, Twix, Starburst, Rolo’s and I think Skittles come from here. Cadbury is great etc too. We might be able to claim apple pie and sandwiches too 😂. Treacle tart, sticky toffee pudding are great too. Some alcohol too

Mexican cuisine is so diverse depending on on the region/state, the first thing everyone thinks about are Tacos which are amazing! But there are so many dishes, seafood, tamales, mole, pozole, carnitas, menudo, Tlayudas, barbacoa to name a few. Don’t get me started with all the delicious salsas that come in all colors and from all sorts of chilis, then we have aguas frescas also coming in all sorts of colors and flavors. Also probably the most famous cocktail the Margarita and so many other great cocktails. Churros are probably the most famous Mexican pastry but there’s so many more delicious ones. To top it off antojitos from any Mexican street vendor from elotes in a cup and mangonadas to name a few it’s all amazing 🤤

Living in Italy now for a few years, Italian food is overrated. Not enough punch in any dishes, everything blends together at some point.

Latin food is amazing, but it lacks diversity in flavors. And just because an ingredient is native to a certain region, doesn’t mean that region has exclusive rights to that particular ingredient.
Otherwise whites (Europeans) would claim flour, beef, pork, duck, rabbit, grapes (wine), and hops (beer).
Asians would get pepper, garlic, soy, chicken… etc.
And Latinos would also get potatoes and tomatoes.
It’s about what you do with the ingredients available to you.
If not craving Italian food I’m craving Mexican an vice versa … then some American fattening food if I can’t get Mexican or Italian … Asian food comes 4th

Mexican cuisine is the most diverse. The same dish can have a different taste in every state. Once you live there you also realize they also have so many toppings for snacks and just so many made up snacks or junk food that other places wouldn’t even think of on top of the traditional meals.
Indian food isn't diverse...the ignorance..I don't care at the end of the day I need some spice and flavour in my food, I add tons of red chilli powder in my pasta where it is not supposed to go..so yeah Indian food is the best..you can get everything, I would choose maggi over pasta anyday
